It was a miserable dealer experience for me. I was excited, when I went to the Hoblit Dodge web site, and saw they are "The No Hassle, No Pressure...Ever Dealership" and the business philosophy is and always has been providing "Honesty and Integrity in the Car Business." Unfortunately, I didn't experience any of that. If they would have had ANY product knowledge about the vehicle they were selling me, and would have done what they said they would do, and did a proper pre-delivery check, and cleaned the vehicle this would have been an OK experience. My expectations were not unrealistic. It was my experience, once I signed the papers, they didn't do anything but push me out the door and off the lot. I purchased a $50,000+ vehicle and they didn't even properly clean the vehicle for me and I would have been happy with a typical car wash cleaning. There was a minor door adjustment I requested, they said they would do it and they had three full days to make the adjustment and didn't. I had a trade-in and the salesman said "we will take it off your hands for the amount owed on the loan." Since I wouldn't get any money to help with my purchase of a new vehicle I decided to not trade it in and sell it myself. The loan was about $16,250, I sold the vehicle myself in three weeks for $24,000. Don't trade in vehicles at this dealership. I will never deal with this dealership again.

"mistake" or intentional fraud??

It is worth noting that I have documentation to substantiate the information provided on this review. July 2015 I purchased a Ram 2500 and added a 5 year all coverage extended warranty for an additional $1,999. Needless to say at at the time of purchase the employees at this dealership acted friendly, attentive and professional. At the end of the last year I noticed the performance on my truck was changing and decided to take it in to dealership to have it inspected. What a disappointing and stressful reality when I was informed The Hoblit dealership never processed my extended warranty, yet they had taken my money upfront. Since becoming aware of this scam, I have been making every effort to have the dealer resolve it. I have made endless calls and now have been exchanging emails but with delayed and minimal results. Initially, it was dismissive tones from receptionist, being hanged up on, and redirected to random voicemails. This in addition to “they are not here, they are busy with other customers, I don’t know when they will be in”. Many attempts were made to contact Chad H with hopes that there would be some professional integrity to make this right. Now, four months later, I am in contact with Scott L. I have submitted the cancellation request and agreed to have my money credited to my loan. I asked for it to be done in a timely manner and as of yesterday this continues to be a game of evasiveness on their part. Mistake or fraudulent activity??? If it was a true mistake you would think that professionalism would lead the management staff to be apologetic for their negligence and try to reduce the amount of stress and work on my part. They would have not tried to avoid taking responsibility for it and tried to get out of addressing this matter. I wonder how many people purchase extended warranty contracts, pay upfront and this dealer never processed it?? New customers be very vigilant and don’t let their initial approach fool you because once they have your business their professionalism and integrity disappears. A very unfortunate and horrible experience. Definitely would never send anyone their way.

I have bought from alot of dealer ships but I have never been done like this before. I found the vehicle on line called and got approved. I was going to go get it the next day and even sent my drivers license and insurance info. I was notified it hadn't passed smog and had to wait until Monday. I waited for a call I never got and so I called. When I contacted the salesman I was notified that upper management had someone else interested that they had ties with and sold it out from under me! This experience is the exact opposite of what they say they stand for. I will share this experience  about this dealer ship especially due to the fact my wife just had an Organ Transplant and we are trying to get back to normal life.

worst experience

After emailing back and forth for a month with salesperson Alexis Contreras, and being told they would not go lower than the posted price of 49,985 for a Ram 2500, I agreed to the price. I confirmed by email that there were no hidden fees or any tricks to the 49,985 price and I was assured that they were straight up, no hassle, no hidden fees. I took time off of work, had a friend pick me up and drive me 2.5 hours to the dealership only to be told that they wouldn’t honor that price! It 50,985 and too bad for you, it doesn’t matter what you were told. I’ve bought one other truck there several years ago and had a great experience. Apparently those days are long gone. I’ll take my hard earned money elsewhere. Sylviane Owens

Great Place

Bought a new car from Hoblit. We loved the experience. Naveed G. went above and beyond to make us happy. Thank you for my new Dodge Durango.

Dismissive and rude

Arrived on a Sunday to look at a Challenger with my friend (so i could drive the new car home). Was turned over to a “sale person” that we both thought must have been a maintenance worker. When I asked about price, I explained that I had been looking at cars on the web and noted some discounts being offered in addition to the Dodge rebate. The salesmen promptly told me that I should go to the other dealer for that “deal”. He proceeded to tell us that the car I was looking at was now sold....that he had sold it for MSRP and that he would sell it to me for MSRP today and that he would “back date the deal” so the their other “buyer” wouldn’t know. Needless to say, I walked out. Both my friend and I had purchased vehicles from this dealership in the last two years; a new RAM 1500 and a used Toyota SUV. What a low rent dishonest sales person. We left...the Challenger is still there a week later!

Excellent

The parking space was limited, couldn’t find the entrance. Everyone was friendly, my sales rep was patient and worked with me to get the car I wanted.
