We took in our 2013 Silverado 2500 HD Diesel truck for a check engine light. After an hour and a half, the service dept. told us that we needed our exhaust particle filter system replaced to the tune of $4500. The employee told that it needed fixed or our truck would go into idle mode. We left and drove to another Central Indiana dealership and had them do a thorough check. After their assessment, their diesel mechanic said there was no soot particles in the filter and the #9 injector which dispenses DEF was also ok. Our truck met all of the GM standards through the testing. We have lost faith and trust in Sam Pierce Chevrolet.

Sam Pierce Chevrolet Dealership
Sam Pierce has been everything positive vs. the reasons we left our previous dealership. From the day we purchased our new vehicle through the 4 service appointments we have received professional service and courtesy. They inform us of what they are doing as well as service that needs to be done or that should be done on an ensuing appointment. We are totally happy with the Sam Pierce Dealership.

Stay away from this place
This place is not the place to buy or have work done .my dad got his truck there and had them do all the service to it and now at 35000 miles they are putting a motor in it because of them .the hole thing started with them doing a oil change on the vehicle they striped out the oil pan threads and told him that he needs to install a new oil pan because his threads were gone on the oil pan and asked him ware he had his oil changed last he told them this place is the only place that touched the truck .so they installed a new oil pan and on the way home the truck was having problems steering was making noise and antilock brake light came on so he stopped and had a nother shop look at it and found loose bolts on steering shaft and wheel barrings and took out the wires on the ads system then after he had it fixed took it back over to Sam pierce to give them the bill that it took to fix the truck to get it back on the road so the service manager wanted took look at the truck so they did and crashed the truck into a nother car and lift and had to install a new bed and tail gat and tonnel cover so hi left it there with them took a month to get the truck back well this also went the same way. A few months ago the motor started making noise then threw off the serpatin belt my father called me over to look at the truck it was knocking bad so tried to pull the dipe stick to check oil and to my surprise could not get it out so if I could not see how much oil was in it how did they . so just a little info I've worked in dealers 25 years as a technician now I do not because of how they do things. so they towed my dads truck back to Sam pierce to look at it and now it needs a motor .and now want him to split the cost of the motor .but they just did a oil change on it a couple weeks before the motor blew and remember they installed a new oil pan a year ago so guess what the got the dip stick stuck between the oil pan and block that is the reason I could not pull the dip stick but they won't admit to that butt I now what they have done and they are going to try and hide this. Its been there for seven weeks now and still not done.so beware of this place they can't be trusted there fake smiles and acting nice is a total front please do not get anything from there the hide stuff well they thank

My sister was looking for a specific Traverse and we couldn't find one anywhere. She had almost the whole family looking for it. Finally we contacted Sam Pierce about a vehicle and was told it is in transit but we could come in and work out the deal before it arrived or they would call us when it was officially on the lot. Fast forward 3 weeks and we received a call from Rocky about the vehicle being delivered and we made the long 2.5hr trip to the dealership and officially purchased. I read a few up and down reviews about this dealership but I can only speak to our experience. They were extremely communicative before our visit and kept us up to date, then when we arrived we were greeted by Rocky and made to feel like they truly wanted to earn our business. The sales rep Brian really pushed to help us get the best deal possible. If I could give 10 stars I would. They don't make dealerships like this one anymore!

Unsatisfactory
Took over a hour to do an oil change and tire rotation. One guy worked and several just standing around. Made me late for an appointment I had after the car service. I have bought or leased 5 vehicles from Sam pierce and currently leasing 2. Not sure I'll be back after this

A case of the "sellers market" fever
I went into this dealer looking for a truck and left with disappointment. It seems like they have caught the usual "sellers market" fever. But the only thing they are catching is customers who won't return. I get that somebody eventually may buy something for a certain price but if it's been on your lot for 3000+ miles, and tons of rust, then I think there should be some wiggle room for negotiation.

I inquired about a corvette when I was told I could come in for an appointment to see the car and get some numbers in hopes to get a deal in place. I drove 45 mins, only to find out that this corvette was a "GM buyback" and GM had replaced either the transmission or the engine. So basically a salvaged title. They claimed they were "unsure" on what was replaced. None of these issues were listed on the advertisement for this car. Not only that, the salesperson I was supposed to meet with in regards to the corvette would not even come out and talk to me. Waste of time for someone who was pretty interested in possibly buying this car. Very disappointed!!

Sam Pierce Chevrolet. Get it on your mind
Brian Johnson was my sales agent he walked me thru every truck out there on the front line. Some trucks we covered 2 or 3 times Brian was quite thorough in answering my questions and explaining and showing me what I was telling him I was after. My experience with Sam pierce Chevrolet and Brian Johnson was exceptional. Very pleased in what was provided to me. Thank you
