BEWARE.

BEWARE. Arapahoe Kia dealership is full of crooks who lie and tell you the 10 year warranty on your pre-certified vehicle is not transferable and then sell you 3rd party warranty for $2800. Only to find out the warranty is transferable. Before getting into that, let me just say that my experience with Joey Hammer and Ezell, sales consultants, was fantastic! Very professional, responsive, accommodating, and helpful. I appreciate the time they took in arranging the test drive. And when I finalized the deal the following day, they went out of their way to bring me the vehicle and explain all the bells and whistles. Two very stand up sales associates. If you absolutely have to do business with this dealership, I recommend requesting them in the future. Now for the awful part… Let’s start with John Johnson, the sales manager. He was extremely rude and dismissive, very off-putting the way he spoke with my husband, who was merely trying to understand the rationale behind the trade in offer we received. Patronizing tone, awful interaction altogether. Why commit to the service industry if you’re going to provide that kind of service? Disappointing experience to say the least, surprising from a well renowned brand like Kia. And management’s poor service wasn’t even the worst of it. Derrick Pete in Finance, who sold me a certified pre-owned vehicle, advised me that the 10 year warranty was non-transferable. He then proceeded to sell me a 3rd party policy discounted from $4400 to ~$2800. My husband, who was out of town, was furious when he found out. Why? Because as it states on the Kia website, certified pre-owned vehicle warranties ARE TRANSFERABLE to the next owner. Do you know what that means? Arapahoe Kia is taking advantage of people, telling them lies and selling them 3rd party coverage on top of the coverage they already have. Can you imagine how many people they’ve conned and continue to con? The world is sick enough, you have to take advantage of hard working people too? My advice? Don’t buy a car from this dealership. They’re criminals.

This dealership is very nice and accommodating for children. However, it was inconvenient that the vehicles were in two different locations. With the cold temperatures, and us having two small children, it would have been better to ask about the vehicles we were interested in so they could be brought to one place.
