Disappointed

I would like to express how disappointed in the purchase and service of my vehicle. I purchased a 2012 Cadillac Escalade on June 21st. I paid cash Rick our salesman wa.s great, nice and very friendly, however I should of known from the start with the other experiences during the night we had come to see the vehicle, that it was just another sale to get the car off the lot. The Used car manager was approached with a few questions from Rick that we had and it was like we were irritating him. Never spoke to him ourselves. At time of pick up on 21st- it was brought to our attention that there were no floor mats; we asked Rick if they (dealership)were able to get them? Answered with a Quick not at our cost. Okay fine, I will purchase them myself. 2 weeks after owning the vehicle a subtle drag sound started only to realize by week 3/4 there was a leak in transmission line, which only got worse. Then by week 4/5 it began a stutter start. so after looking over the 3 month warranty it had come with it looked that these issues were to be covered- Great we couldn't be happier. We then made an appt to only be told that the service dept had a more detailed warranty and neither was covered. So not even 2 weeks after purchase this all started taking place. I truly wish I would of taken the vibes I got from the staff the first night I was in there and not purchased the vehicle, especially after receiving the news that nothing is covered under the more "detailed" warranty the service dept held and it will cost $3000 to fix. We expressed that we just purchased the vehicle. I would like to know why I was not given the more "detailed" warranty at time of purchase, that seems to be deceptive. No one has reached out other than the below, how was your service formality email? which by the way has Ashley as a customer service rep. YET doesn't exit in Zeli like the email suggests or in Moon where the receptionist directed me to when I tried to reach out to her. I have also responded to Cadillac since that also reach out with a customer service survey. I recently reviewed a few reviews of these sort of issues happening to others who purchased vehicles from this location. Very disappointing. I have reached out 2xs via phone and email. With no response.

Fast, local, reliable

Easily booked my service appointment online. Dropped of my car. Was delighted to find out they would text me updates and let me know when the car was ready. They had the car done quickly even though they knew I couldn’t pick it up until after work. Loved the service, especially pointing out possible needs for the future.

Interior rattles in my car

They fixed the interior rattles. Honestly thought it was something I would have to live with. Service department very friendly and professional. Recommend service department

STAY FAR AWAY IF PURCHASING USED CAR.

Today is July 2. On 4.27 purchased 2010 Nissan Rogue. Driven < 200 mi. Tranny shot. They are no help! Too bad, used, as is was basically what we were told. I have made two payments. I have had it less than ten weeks and it's been driven far less than 200 miles. I will never go there again. You sold me a car and you had to know it was bad.

Surprising Experience

We went to North Star because the Honda CRV that we had bought only 9 months ago was very uncomfortable for my husband to drive. I was sure that we would not be able to make a deal that would be close to our current payment. Casey made it happen for us. She was also the most knowledgeable sales person about the car than any other car sales person we have ever dealt with. All without any high pressure.

New Acadia

Went in with a goal. Get a new car at the price I wanted. North Star helped me reach that goal and had me in and the door at signing in less than an hour! Casey was a great sales person, ask for her if you go in!

Great Sales Staff

Josh and Dan were great people to deal with and they went out of their way to assist me and answer my questions but in the end the 600 miles between me and them was just too far for me to finish the sale. I wish North Star was closer to me, this would have happened.

Worth going out of your way for

I pass several GM dealerships on my way to North Star and travel 25 miles because I know I will get the absolute best service around. I’m always treated with courtesy and respect regardless of what service I’m having performed. The service advisers listen to my requests and are very professional. The service manager always makes a point to talk with me about the service I’m having done. I always have the same mechanic keep my vehicles in the top condition and know that he will be sure my requests are addressed. The entire staff treats me as a valued customer and I have never had any issues with acquiring transportation if I had to be somewhere else whilst they were working on my vehicle. The service at North Star is second to none.

Sierra 1500 Denali

I recently purchased a GMC Sierra 1500 Denali from North Star GMC. The sales staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the product. They walked me through the entire proces and made sure that I was happy with the purchase. They also took the time to understand my intended use and recommended accessories that would enhance my experience. I had a great experience and would recommend them
