Very Happy

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for helping my husband Jerry and I out yesterday. We were greeted with professionalism, smiles, and outstanding courtesy. Everyone we spoke to had a great personality and seemed to be very knowledgeable about their jobs. Jerry and I knew what we wanted and you all made sure we got it. So thank you again for the experience of your dealership. Sincerely, Julie V. Galion, Ohio

DON'T BUY FROM HERE!!

Don't buy a truck from these guys, especially a used one. They deliberately disconnect the battery so the check engine light is off, only to turn on 2 days after purchase. (the code was stored multiple times so it's been there). The flat out denied it and make you sign multiple 'as is' papers. DON'T GO THERE!

Not sure about this dealer...

I knew more about the most recent Fords that the sales people did. They told me if I ordered an F-150 Limited I wouldn't have it for 10+ months...but every other dealer I spoke with said 8-10 weeks. I don't think they're up to date.

They lie and do not stand behind their promises

We purchased a 2013 Ford Explorer in July of 2015 because we needed a vehicle to pull our new camper. We were assured repeatedly that it would pull our 3000 lb. camper with NO PROBLEM. They added a hitch, which they installed at the dealership. When we picked it up the installation, we saw that they must have used a sawsall to cut the bumper. It looked horrible. We returned to the dealership where they agreed that it was unacceptable. They replaced the entire bumper with one that was factory ready for the hitch. A few days later I went to hook up the camper and saw that the hitch had been installed without all of the bolts in place. Only 4 of the 6 bolts were installed, and some had not even been tightened. We returned to the dealership AGAIN, and they apologized AGAIN and finished the installation properly. When we took the camper out for the first time, the Explorer did not downshift, even when we were not going uphill. The tach was at around 4500-5000 rpm, and the motor was screaming. Even manually shifting did not help. But we had been assured that the Explorer would pull it without fail. Now, I have pulled other campers with other vehicles in the past, and never had a problem. We are not novices at this. So back to the dealership we go AGAIN.... We explained the problem and the service manager advised that without the factory towing package, it would be unable to actually tow our camper!! Really? We couldn't have been told this BEFORE purchasing the vehicle? And since we had been assured by the Used Car Manager Aaron Meyers that towing it would definitely not be a problem, we told him that we wanted to return the vehicle. We love the Explorer and did not want to return it, but it would not do what we specifically bought it to do. We were assured that they would work with us and find us a vehicle that WOULD pull our camper. They would check around and find an Explorer with the factory towing package.....or find us a truck instead....no worries, they assured us over and over again. We waited to hear that they had found a vehicle. Weeks went by. No contact from the dealership. Every time I stopped in to see them they kept assuring me that they would find something. Finally we were tired of waiting. Several months had gone by. And they never kept their promises to look for another vehicle for us. Their communication skills are severely lacking! Finally we went into the dealership AGAIN and said that we just want to return the vehicle and get our money back, only to be told by Used Car Manager Aaron Meyers that they would give us $7000 less than we paid only 4 or 5 months ago. They had no interest in giving us anywhere near what we paid for the vehicle. And we were told that the value had come down and he couldn't lose money on the deal. Apparently he had no problem with US losing $7000 for THEIR MISTAKE. We will NEVER do business with them again. And we have purchased new vehicles from them in the past. And they did all our service work in the past. No longer. The service department has lost our trust in their ability to complete even the most simple task. And the management of the dealership has no ethics. Every time I hear their commercials saying "the Fairway" I want to puke. What a joke. Beware consumers. Don't let this happen to you. Our salesman was Keith McMurray. We really liked him and could tell that he felt terrible about the way that the upper management was treating us. But there was nothing he could do.

So last week we went in and traded her 2014 escape for a 2016 at fairway .then I was so happy with there service and what are salesman was able to do for us I went back 2 days later and traded my 2014 dodge dart in on a 2016 ford escape.we will be back to buy more from this dealership.

Good Experience

Brought car in for repair. So surprised with customer service and care of an older vehicle. Will return for future repair/service. Few months later needed new car for other vehicle. Buying experience was no pressure and positive. Sales rep, Jaison Brant, made the experience a good one. Would recommend Fairway Ford.
