The salesman, Scott Winn, gave us poor buying experience. It was either ignorance on his part or a desire to not be truthful that lead to this. We were... told that the vehicle we wanted to purchase had new tires and rotors put on it. He even proceed to tell us how much they cost to put on the tires with labor to let us know of the value we were getting for the vehicle. The agreement we came to was an out-the-door price. He circled it and wrote OTD. Come to find out...he subtracted the down payment from that and also told us of fees we had to have. Once we began taking about to the Finance employee, the additional fees were not necessary. We later complained as the numbers didn't add up after we left. Working with customer service, it was determined that the tires were only rotated and an alignment was done. No new tires.
Do not ever go through them unless you have absolutely everything prepared yourself. Don't trust them to take care of anything for you. The moment your... paperwork is signed you mean nothing to them. If you want things fixed about your car, don't take them at their word. Do not sign your documents until they've fixed it. Also, if they offer towing for your trade in vehicle, it's a lie Unless you have a place to store the car for 2 months for them to take it. You affording monthly payments doesn't even make it to the bottom of their list of priorities. As long as they can get you approved, they will now only care about getting you to shut up and give them your money. After that they barely feel the need to pretend they care about you or your situation. Their sales tactics are extremely transparent and insulting like cheap parlour tricks (family photo albums, forcing a warranty down your throat, etc.) and you almost feel inclined to pretend to fall for them just to make it less awkward. Car dealerships are supposed to make their customers feel like they really ARE still customers. This dealership will up and leave like a cheap call girl as soon as you give them money.
Josh Johnson and the rest of the team was great to work with and very patient . I would go back again and let my friends know it's a great place to purchase... a car.

I would like to express my thanks to Jared Price, Sean Sallade, and all the Young KIA staff for making me feel like their Number one customer. I had a... hard time deciding what vehicle was the right one for me. Jared, Sean, and many others dedicated hours of their time working in my behalf. The car buying experience can be stressful, but not when dealing with this group of professionals. Young KIA in Layton is a "haven of rest" where you can do business with trusted friends. I bought two new KIA's and a third used Ford Escape from Young KIA. They are always my first stop. Another reason I choose Young KIA is their service department. Chris Cleven and technicians are dedicated to serving me the customer. Peace of mind, knowing my car is being serviced just like it was their own car. If you buy a Kia hope none of the cheap plastic on it breaks, because they won't fix it and want you to pay for it. So Superglue your car together I guess?... Oh and wiper blades are PER BLADE not like Shoes or other places that sell blades as a PAIR. WHO HAS EVER bought ONE WIPER BLADE? LOL Hmmm
Our initial purchase was in 2016. The sales staff was aggressive and pushy but we had to have something immediately, and we had a good experience with... our previous Kia. The first we purchased was used vehicle. That purchase that had a number of issues in the first week. They refused to return the vehicle or resolve the issues. The only option they gave us was to purchase a new vehicle. As long as I purchased a new one they would trade in the used car for the original sales price. Every-time we went in for service they pushed additional cost services. Then a month out of our warranty period the battery died. I don't think I can even purchase a new battery that only has a 2 year warranty. We were given one price to replace the battery in the morning. When my wife called back later the same day she was told a much higher price. When she brought up the price difference the employee on the phone laughed at her and said she was wrong. Then when she did not schedule an appointment she was hung up on. Sad to say this experience is the normal interaction we get from them. We still like our Kia however this dealership is not one I could ever recommend.
I haven't had the best service previously at KIA but Jared Price took the time too see my struggles I was having and worked through it with me! I appreciate... it very much, I now have a proper working vehicle! Thank you Jared for being so awesome and helpful!
I had my clutch replaced there and 6 months later it was damaged from the flywheel. They claim there was nothing wrong with it but obviously there was!... There is nothing they will do about it and in fact the supervisor Chris avoided me for over a week when I was trying to get a hold of him! I don't just have over a grand to just throw at this money hungry company! I will never give you my service again! Nor will I recommend you to anyone!
I went in to get my old car serviced and walked out with a new car. I decided to walk around to look while I waited for my car to get finished and a wonderful... salesmen came to help me. he helped me get into a new car.
