They sold us a LEMON. First the catalytic converters....
They sold us a LEMON. First the catalytic converters. Next the transmission issues. And now we are without a car because IT WENT UP IN FLAMES. This place is a scam DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They do not back their products up. They knew exactly what they sold us.

We are glad to hear that no one was hurt and are truly sorry this unfortunate event happened. Your insurance carrier has determined the cause of the fire was due to an incorrect repair that you chose to have performed by your personal mechanic, Westover Service. Specifically, they did not properly fasten the bolts that attach the exhaust and exhaust manifold. This was determined by two independent fire inspectors sent by your insurance carrier and Westover's insurance carrier. Neither you nor a representative from Westover chose to go to this inspection as invited, however we did and clearly saw the fire was a result of the improperly fastened bolts. You were very quick to blame us for the fire and defame us all over social media, yet there was no mention of the work performed by Westover. Garavel has been in business for 20 years and we are proud of the products we sell and the services we offer. We stand behind everything we do and always have. We certainly do make mistakes, but we always own up to them and try to resolve them. You chose to purchase an "As Is" vehicle from us due to the discounted price that fit your budget. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, we asked you to take the vehicle to your own mechanic for review and you chose not to do that. We explained very clearly both verbally and the disclosure you signed regarding what "As Is" means, so there was no confusion. This was no doubt a tragedy, however it has been determined the fire was not caused by any work we did to the vehicle or the condition of the vehicle when we sold it to you. Furthermore, you filed a complaint with the CT DMV and they denied your complaint and found we acted in accordance with Connecticut State Law. Your frustration should be directed towards your mechanic and the repairs they performed.

So I spoke with someone at the dealership about my lease...
So I spoke with someone at the dealership about my lease on Tuesday. Wednesday, Rami calls me, we text and email back and forth. Friday I come in and walk out with this beauty. He took care of us from start to finish, got us a great deal, got us hot chocolate, the works. Walked us out of there a few hours later with a great new truck and told us all the little details we needed to know. Everyone there was great, from the GM to the Business Manager to the greeter at the door. Great experience. Again!

I have been buying cars from Garavel for over 25 years...
I have been buying cars from Garavel for over 25 years and the Team, specifically, Mark Porcheddu, are by far the best group to work with. They are helpful in everyway possible and their follow through is excellent. If all dealerships were operated like Garavel, buying cars would be a pleasure. And, I love my new Jeep Wrangler.

Annie Granchelli and the team at Garavel treated me like family. When I scheduled my visit to the dealership, I told her what I wanted: trade a Jeep for a Ram. When I arrived, she had a 2021 Ram Longhorn Limited parked on display. Annie handed me a key, and said, "Take a long ride and tell me how you like it." Ernesto was generous with the trade, and Sue expedited financing with both humor and professionalism. As for the 2021 Ram, awesome!
