What’s not to love about Premier Subaru.

What’s not to love about Premier Subaru. The buying experience was straight forward with no bait and switch in the price once we sat down. Even the one add on I didn’t want was taken off quickly without any push back. I asked if they could include the all weather mats. They agreed during the test drive but as it turns out the car already came with them so they just took the price of the mats off the car since they promised them. Something they didn’t have to do but was very nice of them. Gives me confidence that they are not out to nickel and dime the customers. Between the both trips to the dealer I was in and out in less than 3 hours total. My sales person Jeremy was amazing and easy to talk to. I’ve already ordered a couple add in from the service dept and that experience was also great. Buying a new car doesn’t get easier.

When I purchased my new car from Premier Subaru, I

When I purchased my new car from Premier Subaru, I thought it was a great experience. The sales person and financing person seemed super helpful and we were really happy. I purchased the certified package for my preowned car. 5000 miles later I take the car to my mechanic, Who I trust and have been going to for years, for an oil change and he tells me the tires are completely shot. 85 to 90% worn. There is no way I wore out that much of the tires in 5000 miles just doing local driving. He said they definitely should have been replaced before I left the dealership in order to meet the certified standard. Now I’m paying $1300 for a new tires on top of a new car and I’m so disgusted with premier Subaru. When they called a few weeks after I purchased the car to see how it was going I asked them about the tires because I thought they looked low On tread And was told that they had to be 5 mm in order to meet the certified standard and they should be good for a while. Stupid me trusted them. Obviously, some of the fault falls on me for not insisting they show me that the tires met standards before I Drove off the lot But shame on them for being dishonest. If you buy anything from them, make sure you do your due diligence to ensure they are being honest.

Thank you for your review and, we want our customers happy - something we have done for more than 24 years. When offering vehicles certified here we have the obligation to meet certification standards for both The State of Connecticut and Subaru Certification. We put our cars through 150 point safety inspection and make sure that they meet all of the standards of the road. When delivery was accepted of the vehicle the tires measured higher than each of those standards. During the time of driving the car depending on driving habits sometimes tires can wear further into that. No matter what, we would like an opportunity to talk to you prior to putting new tires on your car to see if there is any way that we can help defray that cost - or, provide a second opinion as to the tires. Thank you - As we indicated, all vehicles exceed minimum certified standards at the time of sale. Obviously, if there is some sort of issue - we would have loved the opportunity to see the vehicle and the tires before you made any decisions to assist in that. We are computerized measuring equipment in our service lanes that would immediately advise if there would be a wear problem or not. Unfortunately, without seeing the vehicle or knowing the exact circumstances - it is tough for us to assist you. We would always recommend a second opinion on something like that. Thank you.

I had concerns about the tires immediately after purchase and it’s my fault for not bringing it back to have to checked right away, but I do not live close to the dealership and it’s not easy to get there. I brought it up to the sales person and was essentially dismissed. My driving habits are not such that I wear tires out that quickly. For them to be 85-90% worn after only 5000 miles would require me to be doing burn outs regularly which I don’t think is even possible in an automatic SUV. I trust my mechanic and have already replaced the tires because I was concerned about driving on them in winter weather. I’m not willing to take that risk with my children and I was concerned about the tires prior to bringing it to my mechanic. I’m disappointed in the dealership and won’t be returning. Unless you want to reimburse me for the cost of the new tires I don’t think there is a way to rectify the situation.

I've been a Premier customer for several years, and they are always customer oriented in service and sales. We recently bought a new Legacy, and Jeremy was fantastic to work with. He provided helpful information, appropriate follow-up, and was friendly and low pressure. Andi was also fantastic in her orientation to all of the latest features before we drove away!

Great service!

Great service! I had difficulty securing credit because I recently moved to the US for work, and had no credit history, and they were able to secure me a lease.

Awesome service, Jeremy really helped with my needs and wants for my new car. And made it affordable for me each month. And also made sure I had my rain guards before picking up my car the next day installed.
