The worst dealership experience to date!
If you are considering a vehicle purchase from Grogan's, do not take their word on anything! Check, double-check, and ensure that you do not purchase a vehicle without an independent inspection. Read their reviews and pay close attention to how CPO or used vehicles have required repairs shortly after purchase and how things are not disclosed before purchase. All of the negative reviews are true, I speak from first-hand experience. I can not, in good conscience, recommend anyone consider purchasing a used or CPO vehicle from this dealership. Save yourself the money trying to overcome lie after lie and just run away. If the deal seems "too good to be true," it is! I was intentionally misled through the entire process and had to drive to their dealership (2 hours one way) to cut through the BS. I was even stupid enough to make a return trip with my wife, who had to take the day off so that we could bring the vehicle home after an independent inspection. The CPO "certified pre-owned" vehicle was found to have brakes that were needing to be changed immediately, and I quote "in throw-away condition." We still overlooked all of the BS and requested to pay for new pads and rotors with no cost to them ($1630). This would have made the purchase price about the same as other nationwide CPO vehicles of the same make and model. Our last request was for them to flush the transfer case fluid ($100 job), which was also discovered on the inspection as dirty, never serviced, and should have been done per the CPO checklist. We were told no, so we walked. We didn't ask for a price reduction once, just fix a few things that should have been done during the "certification" process and actually certify the vehicle appropriately. We were lied to multiple times and ultimately walked away from a $45K-$50K vehicle for $100 fluid flush. The CPO labeling is a way for this dealership to provide you confidence falsely. “The Italians having a Proverb, ‘He that deceives me once, its his fault; but if twice, its my fault.'”

Love my new Jeep

Didn't Purchase, but John Byrne was Great!
Emailed back and forth with John Byrne for several days about a used Jeep Grand Cherokee the dealership just got in. Ended up purchasing another vehicle from another dealership, but John was great. He was very responsive via email, answered all my questions, and was very transparent. If I'm ever in the market for another vehicle, I will definitely consider John Byrne and Grogan's Towne.

No pressure sales and customer friendly experience
I really do think John Baertschi is one of the best people to deal with when buying a car. He finds 2 or 3 cars in your preference and price range and lets you test drive and you choose what is best for you. I had to reduce my monthly rate so John found what I needed in terms of features and where i needed to be at on my payment. After a couple test drives, I had my new car. John is good guy and I will recommend him as he was recommended to me by a friend.
