Both Mark & DJ made the car buying process easy.
Both Mark & DJ made the car buying process easy. They were both professional and a pleasure to deal with. This is the fourth vehicle we?ve bought from them and will not consider buying from any other GMC dealer.

Buyer beware. Price switch.
Called to check in on vehicle that had been on sale for almost 3 weeks at one price, then called back to put deposit on vehicle and suddenly the price has been wrong for almost 3 weeks. They raised the price by 1000 and no discounts after having said 500 off the original price. Ed the salesman and who ever else involved are greedy. Beware.

I had an awesome experience getting my new car at Battles. Janet Green the GM and Jeff Battles were amazing to work with. Will definitely buy my next vehicle from there as well as my husbands. Excellent facilities, snacks and drinks, charging station for my cell phone while I waited. Service was also friendly. Overall A experience.

I bought a GMC Canyon From Battles and I can say it was the smoothest easiest car purchase I've had in a long time. Will be coming back once my lease ends.

Shady deal from lease turn in
First off, sorry for the long review but since I gave them a 1 Star I want to explain. I am 30 year active military member and have always heard that Battles takes care of military members and families. (I work on JBCC and deal with a lot of people who have recommended Battles). My wife had a lease from Battles Nissan on a Rogue. She wanted to upgrade to the GMC Acadia. She had a few months left on the lease and decided turn it in to purchase the larger Acadia for family needs. I called Corey to explain what we wanted to do and that we leased the car from a Battles dealership. (Battles Nissan). I discussed with Corey that since we were buying another car from Battles could there be a smooth lease turn in and about waiving any additional fees etc...again because we were planning on buying another car from Battles. Corey said, yes it would be easy and to come in. We went to Battles GMC April 20th. Corey showed us the Acadia we had in mind. He asked for the keys to the Rogue so as he said, they could look at it and check it out. (At the time we are thinking that they are looking at it for any damage etc... as a lease turn in. We were later told by Janet that it was just the used car rep). We talked numbers and left. A couple days later we called back Corey and told him we decided to buy the vehicle. We agreed that we owed some money still on the the remaining lease contract but that was it. I again asked Corey numerous times during our discussions that the Rogue would be all set. There would be no additional fees except for the monies we owed on the remaining contract? He did say we might owe a disposition fee to Nissan but that was all. We brought the Rogue back in a few days later and signed the papers to buy the Acadia. Corey stated that we would need to just drive the Rogue over to the Nissan parking lot and meet him there. We drove it over and he asked for the keys and registration. He walked into Battles Nissan and walked out a few minutes later and handed my wife the keys to the Acadia. He said we were all set. We couldn’t of been happier! Approximately 3 weeks later we receive a notification in the mail from Nissan that we owed almost $400.00 to repair damages/ scratches to the vehicle! We left the vehicle in the Nissan parking lot that day in great condition. I take great care of our vehicles. I then went into Battles to speak with someone and met with Janet. After I explained what happened she said she would speak with the Battles Nissan General Manager. She told me that if we had leased another vehicle from Battles that fee would of been a waived. However I told her that Corey said it would be waived if we bought the Acadia and we BOUGHT a $38,000 Vehicle from Battles. Janet called me back 1 time after I met with her. After that, silence. I had to keep reaching out. I also contacted Melanie Battles via email and although she received my email she never contacted me back. After ignoring us for over a month, my wife finally received a collection notice from Nissan. After numerous emails and calls I finally got a hold of Janet and she was nonchalant-about the whole issue. She basically said, “it looks like Nissan isn’t going to waive the charges.” I explained that we were not there for the vehicle turn in on the Rogue inspection and that is required according to Nissan and that we were told by Corey we were all set when we turned it in. Nothing was resolved and I got the same we are looking into it speech. (This is now going on almost 2 months). We ended up paying the charges and are currently looking into legal action. We were never there for the lease vehicle turn in inspection by Battles Nissan. My wife’s credit is excellent and we hope that this doesn’t affect her credit rating. The whole experience with Battles has been tarnished by a lack of customer care and follow through. It seems like they could care less about us and what took place.

Overall, a positive impression
I called for an appt. on a Sunday afternoon on my way back to the Cape. My initial sales contact was not working on Sunday, but another sales representative stepped in to assist me. He was not pushy, understood the products and if there was a particular question which he could not answer, he first took the time to look it up so he could answer me correctly instead of just throwing out an answer. One example would be on the possible rebates and other discounts available on the Sierra SLT when compared to the Sierra SLE. There was a sizable difference, plus, he printed out bills of sale for each model and included payment options as well. Overall, a very nice sales job, courteous and professional - what one would hope for, but rarely sees. I could tell, he liked his job. As for my overall "star ratings", I am a hard marker so don't be offended.
