Above average buying experience

Just purchased a pre-owned Grand Caravan from Tyler Green at Deery Motor Co. The experience overall was above average. (I’ve bought plenty of vehicles in my life.) The store manager, Dylan Deery, met with me during the sales process and visited with us at delivery. Although they would not negotiate on the price of the van it was competitively priced already. Tyler, the salesman, was very nice to work with and a busy person. Look him up if you stop into the dealership.

False advertising. Advertised a one owner car with 43k...

False advertising. Advertised a one owner car with 43k miles. Autocheck did say one owner at the top but it clearly showed that the car was auctioned twice at year 4 & 5. Also stated there was an odometer issue.

Waste of time! go to buy a new TRX RAM and wasted 90...

Waste of time! go to buy a new TRX RAM and wasted 90 minutes of my time to only find out this dealer was going to tac on a $10,000 FEE onto the MSRP. Called Kruger Auto in Waverly Iowa and $0 added to a new TRX RAM Truck. I went to UNI 25 years ago and Dan Deery had an "iffy" reputation then and I see they have not changed at all! Waste of time and not worth going there is they are going to do the good ole bait and switch on clients! With this said, my sales guy was very nice but I wish he had told me about the +$10,000 over MSRP before I wasted 90 minutes! REDICULOUS!

Bait and Switch

I made an appointment to test drive a truck at 3pm. i live an hour away and i made it clear that I was driving an hour to come test drive the vehicle. I arrive at the dealership, only to be taken to a cubicle and sat down and then find out they sold it at 2 pm! Now, they claim they tried to call me but i only received one phone call and it was from a 309 not 319 area code. Furthermore no voice mail was left either. Basically, they tried to run the bait and switch on me! so i wanted to share this experience with others to raise awareness of their shady tactics!

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but I'm about...

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but I'm about fed up. The sales person I worked with was great until the deal was done and he got his commission. After that he ignored my messages and calls. Then i had to schedule an appointment to get the bodywork done and fender flares put on (that I didn't want). Was told by their service department that the work should take 1-2 days to complete. I called on day 4 only to find that they had no idea whether the work had been done or not and that they would find out and call me back (still waiting for that call). I really wanted to enjoy my experience and return for business but I just don't feel great about the situation. Customer satisfaction should be rule #1!

Poor customer service

Told them not to run our credit due to we were Pre approved by our credit union. They told us over and over that they would not run our credit. They then turned around and ran our credit anyway. (We found out after buying the car). I tried calling twice to find out why, and they will not return my calls. We also told them to register the car under the March driver. Got the license plates today, and they registered the vehicle under the August driver. Will never buy a vehicle from them again!
