We took our Subaru in for an oil change and tire rotation
We took our Subaru in for an oil change and tire rotation and wanted additional diagnostics to troubleshoot a specific issue. Service and diagnostics were performed the day we dropped it off (day 1). On day 1 we agreed to have an issue under warranty repaired and were told a part needed to be ordered. On days 2 and 3 we have not been able to get any information, regarding on ETA on the part and when the warranty repair would take place. The warranty issue isn't making it so that the vehicle is inoperable. We wanted an ETA, so that we could come pick up the vehicle if it was going to take more than a day to get the part in. It was impossible to get anyone over the phone to answer those basic questions. Those we interacted with over the phone were unhelpful and uncommitted to getting answers to basic questions. It took both my husband and calling separately demanding answers to finally getting a single text with an ETA on the part and repair. We asked to speak with Cory, the service manager, and Alex the General Manager. We were told each would return our calls and neither did. This dealership is not committed to excellent service. We have no faith in LaFontaine Subaru's service department and will go elsewhere with our maintenance needs going forward.

Bought our first Subaru from Joel Curlee at Lafontaine Subaru a year ago. From the get go Joel went above and beyond to assure that our purchasing experience was first rate from start to finish. Today's visit was our second routine warranty oil change & tire rotation, and on both occasions Corey Randall, our Service Advisor, made sure we received great service and were in and out as quickly as possible. We even received a full video report from Technician Khalil Randall covering our car's service and current condition. The folks we've dealt with and service we've received at LaFontaine Subaru just plain can't be beat!!!

This dealership violated me.
This dealership violated me. Car dealing has always been sleazy, but I’m still shocked by this dealership’s complete lack of pride. Incomplete cleaning, old wipers, cleared emissions codes, and a key that fell apart after three turns of the ignition were not what I expected from a dealership. But making me wait hours and then sending me off in a snowstorm with frozen rear brakes demonstrates downright contempt for their customers. Of course, when I returned to their dealership, they replaced the frozen rear brake calipers. They called it a “favor” to me since they legally had to do nothing. I don’t think anyone except LaFontaine calls a used car meeting basic safety standards a “favor.” Do not make my mistake. Do not buy from LaFontaine. Their only cares are money and the barest form of legality. You are worth more than how they will mistreat you, and they certainly do not deserve your money.
