Great Dealership!

Great experience. I had not been in a new car in over 12 years and the salesman was very helpful in explaining the new technology. This review keeps taking away my ratings. This is very annoying.

Excellent service

Went in because check engine light came on. They were able to service my car promply. Took some time but I was just happy to get the repairs done. The tech and girl at the counter were super nice

Imlay City Ford- Big Dealer, Small Town Feel

I'm a Ford retiree and have dealt with a lot of dealers and have to say Imlay City Ford rates as the best I have found. While researching the new 2017 Ford Super Duty pickups I found a truck on the Imlay City Ford website I just wanted to look at. Imlay City Ford is 25 miles from me so I went a bit out of my way. When I didn't find the particular truck I was interested in I entered the showroom where I was immediately greeted by Paul Lafontaine Jr., the Dealership Principal Manager and he introduced me to Tim Young who became my sales person. I explained to Tim that I would not be in the market to buy a truck for several months. Tim found the truck, brought it around to the front of the dealership and offered to let me drive it. I test drove the truck in November of 2016 and spent time with Tim who answered many questions about the new Super Duty with absolutely no pressure to make a commitment that day and said when I was ready to let him know. In July of 2017 I generated an online build of the vehicle on the Ford Build and Price facility for a special order truck with the exact list of colors and equipment I wanted and e-mailed it to Tim. Tim generated an out the door price and e-mailed scans of the documents to me. I followed up with a visit to place a small deposit and turn in my A-Plan PIN and had a "Works Service" oil and filter change and tire rotation done on my 2014 Focus while arranging my new vehicle purchase. Tim placed the order at Kentucky Truck that day and predicted a 6 week delivery. Once the truck was scheduled at Kentucky Truck Tim e-mailed the build date and the vehicle identification number to me. We were on vacation in upper Michigan when Tim e-mailed me that my new truck had arrived at Imlay City Ford. I asked Tim if he could e-mail a picture and he sent 6 pictures that day. We arranged to take delivery of the pickup on a Thursday after we got home from vacation and also arranged to leave the Focus for service that was expected to take several days. The delivery experience was excellent. After signing most of the delivery paperwork I was introduced to the Sales Manager, Mike Marvin, who spent a little time explaining the Ford extended service plan options and other goods and services offered by Imlay City Ford. Mike was very informative and never made me feel pressured to buy anything instead thanking me for my business and offering his support after the sale. Finally Tim put the license plate on my new truck and we left the dealership with my new F-350 Super Duty. Friday, the day after we left the Focus, Nick Welch in Service called to tell me the car was ready for pickup which was a surprise considering the complexity of the service it received, all of which was performed flawlessly and to my complete satisfaction. The truck was flawless except for a minor problem with a built in garage door opener. Service Manager Bob Broecker got involved in correcting the garage door issue and bent over backwards to assure my satisfaction and now that issue is corrected. I now have about 2000 miles on the new truck, an F-350 Super Duty Super Cab single rear wheel short box Lariat with 6.7L Turbo-Diesel engine and off-road 4 X 4 package. It is comfortable, quiet, powerful and capable and on a rainy last trip home from Michigan's Upper Peninsula got 18.5 miles per gallon at 70 mph which I think is amazing for a one ton truck that weighs around 7,300 lbs. It is fun to drive and we expect to tow a fifth wheel trailer around the country with it in the future. In summary, the 2017 Ford Super Duty is awesome! Imlay City Ford is a modern large Ford Dealership with a professional staff that will make you feel like family. It is big enough to be completely capable from sales to service while maintaining that friendly appeal of a small town dealer. I have been impressed with every aspect of my experience with this dealer and would recommend Imlay City Ford to anyone.

Good buying experience

Dale Simpson was our salesman and have bought from him before. Great person to deal with, not pushy or overbearing as some can be. Probably sold the truck for us as our first offer was denied but said why not make a second offer. Didn't expect to get a positive reply on it but came back and reached out his hand to shake. My wife asked did we just buy a truck and he said yes!! Very happy with the truck and our experience.

Excellent Service and Salesmanship

Outstanding salesmanship. Jeff T is exceptional! From Tuesday evening to Thursday afternoon, went from advising I was interested in purchasing a new Edge, located what I wanted, had the vehicle delivered to their dealership and in my hands by Thursday evening. 2017 F250 SD (used)

Purchase was quick and easy. Price was reasonable. Truck had 17300 miles on it when we bought it. The rear tires were worn out (previous owner must have been heavy on the accelerator). So far the truck has performed great.
