Zero communication!
Zero communication! The customer shouldn't have to chase down an advisor to get a status update on their vehicle. ESPECIALLY when it's to get an update on their vehicle for something that happened under your care. Keep your customers in the loop. It's not that difficult "hi, I know we've had your car for a couple hours, here's where we're at..."
