It was a great experience from start to finish. I told them I was looking around and this was my first stop. They understood and I didn't feel any pressure. When I came back with my final decision to go with the SanteFe, Jose was with us all the way to the end!! He was great!!

Met with Scott. He wanted to sell the car. He was enthusiastic about the product. He listened to my needs and matched me up with the right car for those needs. He was very knowledgeable about the product and with a lot of patients explained the features as well as the benefits that I would enjoy with the automobile. After the sale and purchase he took my phone call and re educated me on the points that I missed or did not understand.

They were fast and friendly. Also they were more than fair with my trade in value. Our new Tuson is a great value based on features and price. We were pre-approved thru our credit union, but Hyundai had a better interest rate so we went with them.

I received an internet quote on a new Elantra from this...
I received an internet quote on a new Elantra from this dealer. The dealer was agreeing to wave the doc, title, and lic fees and sell me the car at MSRP. Drove over 2 hours to get there and they had already sold the car. OK, i hadn't put any money down on it but they refused to honor the waving of the fees for any other vehicle. Fealt like this was a classic bait and switch and was not happy. Fortunately, Sheppard Motors in Eugene was VERY nice about it and honored the offer and then some. They were very friendly, straight forward and will definitely get my business in the future... But buyer beware if you're going to Whitnell...

I am are very sorry that you felt that we used a "bait and switch" method when you got to the dealership. We have been in business for over 52 years and take pride in being honest and up front with our customers, sometimes it is poor communication that makes a customer feel that we were not honest and up front. Here is what I know to have happened when reading your customer file and all of the emails that took place between you and Crystal Asman. 1. You found an elantra that you wanted and came to an agreement on price, but when Crystal requested that you put money down to hold the car you did not want to do so. At the time you were looking to purchase an elantra. The inventory was very slim through out the state. In fact the one you wanted was the only one we had in our inventory at that MSRP. 2. Our Hyundai store sold the car that you wanted the night before you came to the store. Once Crystal came in that next day to meet you she found out that the car had been sold by the sales floor. 3. She offered to sell you a better equipped elantra, with a higher MSRP for the same price as the car you had originally wanted but you would need to pay the DMV fees. You were getting more car for less money when comparing MSRP to MSRP. 4. You chose not to take the deal and went else where. I think it would be fair to say that since you did not hold the car with a deposit and she offered to sell you the higher priced car at a loss, that paying the DMV fees would have been a fair deal. You obviously felt you could do better and it sounds like you did. We do not ever want to lose someones business but in this case we did. I am sorry that you did not feel good about your expierence here at Withnell Hyundai but I do not think that our intent was to bait and switch you, the intent was to sell you the car that you wanted. Unfortunatley, you did not put a deposit down and we did not have another one at the same MSRP. Had we, Crystal would have honored the price that you had agreed on. Purchased a vehicle there on Sunday the 21st. We drove a long distance and the car had almost an empty tank, we asked to get some gas put in the car, I dont think that should have been a big deal. MY major problem was that the salesman said "it is not our policy to put gas in a used vehicle". So when I was sitting with the finance manager, I explained to him the situation and he made a call to have gas put in. I appreciated that sign of service and freindlyness. When we finished I went to the car and it was still empty. I asked why and I was told "you were told no by the salesman and we considered it a closed issue". That really made me angry. Not to mention that there was only one key as well which we didnt find out until delivery. That probly sounds like a small thing but even Enterprise gives 2 keys, fobs and minimum 1/2 tank of gas. HOWEVER if the personel would have been profesional and explained the situation to me kindly, I would have accepted the situation and left without the feeling I had. To me you can buy a car anywhere, the differance is service and they definatly treated me like as soon as I signed.....get the xxxx out. I will NEVER go back for that reason right there. POOR SERVICE!

The experience was great. Scott was very nice to work with, the auto was clean and presented well at time of sale. Also, the dealer was willing to work with us on the price. I lease on a regular basis and have never done business with this dealer - I would recommend them.

Crystal worked with me via email for several months, kept me in the loop for what I was looking for. She never pressured me and was totally honest and straightforward. The day I finally bought a Tucson she was great to work with. I would absolutely recommend the Withnell Hyundai dealership.

We researched the Hyundai and then went to Withnell based on thier ad. They met every expectation we had and we received wonderful service. The inventory was substantial enough for us to chose the right model and color for us and we were able to drive away in our new car within a couple short hours. We will definately go there again if and when we are in the market for another Hyundai!

I was assisted by Roxie in the service department. She was very thorough and friendly. She had good suggestions for my next service visit. The oil change, tire rotation and multi-point inspection took less than an hour. While we waited, Greg took us on a test drive of the new 2011 Elantra. It is a very nice car. I will definitely return to this dealership!
