Emmert Motors Offers Horrible Service

Do not use Emmert. I went in for a FREE airbag recall and they had my vehicle so messed up it became unsafe to drive. After their fourth attempt to rectify their mistakes (crimped the wires during the recall install, and never told me) I had to take my vehicle to another certified dealership. It cost me $2300.00 to get my vehicle fixed back to the way it was prior to bringing it to Emmert. They fried the airbag sensor, the connector, the throttle body and the abs! They knowingly and willingly let me drive a vehicle that was unsafe for almost two months. Airbags would not work and throttle would stick or accelerate at any time. Not one person at Emmert was honest or tried to do the right thing. The owner would not even call me back on multiple attempts. Shame on them. This is what you get for staying local!

Song n dance

My story: Last spring my truck got a little 'dingy'. We went to Emmerts to make an appointment for repair. Made an appointment for Fall. This giving time for them to work with my insurance. Mid summer I gave Emmerts $3,300. Partial or down payment...which is not normally required. September comes, I take my truck in for repair. I'm told it will take 3 weeks. Okay. 3 weeks and 3 days later-with no word at all from Emmerts-I went to get my truck. It has not been touched! What? Seems insurance did not agree with the $8,000 repair!?? 8,000 dollars? yes. one day later I got a call saying "get my personals out of the truck-IT IS A TOTAL LOSS. Insurance wants to haul it from Emmerts to avoid more 'storage fees'. No way, this is MY truck. It is not a loss. I just put 5,000 engine rebuild in it.(Not by Emmerts). I go to get my truck. Emmerts refuses to give me my truck for 3 days. So much song n dance. But day 3 an officer told me to talk to ...Nolan. Nolan is one step down from the owner. That day, after mentioning Mr. Nolan, they gave me my keys and my truck. And Emmerts want to charge me for storage fees! I did not take my truck to Emmerts for STORAGE! So I am fixing my truck myself. No-I have no idea how, but I am learng. I have talked with insurance all along-they have been the best in helping me get enough cash due to the earlier improvements and engine rebuild.-Not done by Emmerts. Farmers BTW.(in case you want to know). This is turning out to be one of the worst/best experiences of my life! (as for learning lessons. As for Emmerts and my 3 week without a truck plus 3,300 dollar loss?...With their experience in this sort of thing I doubt I have a chance of being reimbursed or compensated. We will see Monday. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. EMMERTS MOTOR COMPANY BOOO.

Look elsewhere!

Save your time and money and look elsewhere! These mechanics are a joke. They are sloppy and we always leave the lot from a routine maintenance only to return within the week with an actual problem! Their customer service in the service department is terrible, unless you can speak with Melissa. We have 2 more years left on our warranty which we will be damaging by taking our vehicle elsewhere for further maintenance. This place is not worth it. (The employee is NOT Cameron. The drop down automatically selected him. My review is of the service dept., not management or sales).

Look elsewhere!

my new favorite dealership

I called in and talked to Jake about a used Spark EV and he was friendly and knowledgeable. I've been to dealerships in the past that lied to me about having a car or sales reps not knowing anything about them so I always call in now first. After I got to the dealership, I found the car as described and I ended up purchasing. From my first call to signing the papers I never felt pressured and really actually enjoyed the purchase. Love my Spark EV (NO GAS STATIONS) and Emmert Motors is my new go-to location.

Best Car Buying Experience

Drive A Little Save A Bunch

Have done some great business with these people in the past. Had a hard time getting the help I needed on researching a part and they went out of their way to help me when other dealers wouldn't take the time. Price was the best in town too! Will definitely consider them for future purchases of parts, service and a truck.

Average to Mediocre Paint Repair

Frustrating body shop repair service. Took my car in for minor bumper scuffs to repaint. The painting took a long time to complete (about 5 days) and after the paint was done noticed that there was rough spots where the paint was merely sprayed on, but not smoothed over to a like new finish. I took it back, they said they fixed it, so I take it home to look at and looked at it again today and still not done right. I am totally frustrated.

Amazing Dealership Experience

Cameron and Michael made the buying process very simple and straight forward. We purchased two new vehicles on the same day. One of the cars was a dealer trade from a dealership near Seattle. The car was delayed due to bad traffic. We completed the paperwork while we were at the dealership. My son was then provided a loaner and the dealership then delivered the car to our home the next day in Lake Oswego.
