We were looking for a Ford Explorer and kept seeing the one from Downtown Ford on Cars.com. It was more than we wanted to spend but thought we should look at it since we have purchased from Downtown Ford before and had a good experience. There was no price negotiating as they said they had already reduced the price as much as possible. We purchased the vehicle after a couple days of continuing to shop and couldn't find a better 2006 Explorer with the same options for a better price so we decided to purchase the vehicle from Downtown Ford. On the drive home the heat didn't work too well and we heard water rushing behind the passenger side of the dashboard. The vehicle also was not shifting properly so we returned the next day and had it serviced under the warranty provided at the time of purchase. There was a coolant leak but found nothing about the rough shifting. After driving the vehicle for 2 more days we found gear oil on the floor in our garage and returned the vehicle to the dealership were they found trouble with the transmission. Even though we had trouble with the vehicle, due to the warranty for 4,000 miles provide by Downtown Ford they are taking care of it. Can't ask for more than them standing behind a vehicle they sold.

I have been buying from Downtown for almost 40 years. I can buy a Ford anywhere. But I can not find a Body Shop or Service Department like their departments anywhere else in the county. I can not speak for every service rep they have because Bruce Krumlauf has spoiled me to go to anyone else. However, I have never seen any of them treat any other customer any differently. In Stark County, the only place to go is Downtown Ford.

This was the first time I was at this dealership in over 10 years. My Lincoln needed recall service, so I took it to downtown Ford. They treated me like I have been doing business there my whole life. Professional, courteous and the work was done as quick as possible. When I returned to pick my car up, to my pleasant surprise they had washed my car. I will be taking my car for service from now on. I would, and will recommend Downtown Ford to everyone. The individuals named are body shop employees . The estimate was much lower than the other estimate I obtained . Based on my examination the rear passenger door and other body work looks excellent. The employees are polite and conversations were good. I would return if I need more body work done. My truck door was damaged as a result of another car colliding into it.

Went to Downtown Ford to "just look". The last thing I said to hubby was "We are not driving out of here with a car today. We are just looking". By the end of the day we are driving out with a Ford Fusion. No hard pressure sale. Thank you Joel. Other salesmen should use this as an example - the more you pressure the more people are turned off. Once again, thanks Joel for making this a happy experience.
