Billion
Billion has a few salespersons and although I've been out there a couple of times, I'm still looking for one that knows something about cars. They don't even know what the different cars have to offer. However, sales may not be their strong point but surfing the internet seems to be something they are qualified for. Asking about whether a Cruze Eco rides the same as the LT and other models and how the noise level compares of that ride, one stated they all ride the same and there should be no difference in the noise. Another disagreed and an argument ensued. No help from the manager either. Knowledge is something you can acquire and it may some day lead to wisdom. They have a long way to go since they don't even have the knowledge yet and from the salespersons I spoke with, there is no desire to get it. Also when I asked about the SS a couple of months ago, no on on their sales floor knew about the car. Seriously!!!! If the salespersons call you on the phone ask them a couple of questions and see if that's the type of person you would want to buy something from.

Sorry to hear that you did not receive the answers you were looking for at our dealership upon your recent visit. We can assure you that the sales team does do regular GM training so it's not clear as to why this person did not have an answer for you. False ad - not really "certified"
Recently went to Billion after looking through their GM certified inventory online. We had a few models we were particularly interested in. When met by the salesman, he took us out to where the "certified" vehicles were, but seemed very unsure as to what vehicles I was talking about. After walking around a bit, he decided to go back inside and get a printout of inventory. He could only fine 1 of the 6 cars I had found online. Most were in South Dakota, but 2 were "no where to be found" ?? But he insisted he should have them. The missing ones were the ones with less miles than the one he could have me test drive. After test driving, I still said I wanted to see the ones with less miles that were the same year and price. He said he'd track them down, but then the next day, proceeded trying to sell us the higher miles one because he couldn't fine them. THEN when I clarified that it was GM certified, told me no - that it was "certifiable" not certified. (we'd have to pay extra for that.) When I said that online their website advertises those cars as already GM certified - he said " Oh - we say that for all the cars, but they are just CERTIFIABLE." Beware!

Beware Billion Advertised Price
I found a vehicle I was interested in on-line at Billion Auto and had previously met one of their salesmen a week earlier, so I e-mailed him and expressed an interest in driving to Iowa City to test-drive the vehicle in a couple days. Within 36 hours of my initial e-mail, the on-line price went up by $3000 (yes $3K). When I inquired as to what was going on, I was told that the new price reflected their "shop bill and certification" which, according to the CARFAX report, was completed 3-weeks earlier. They refused to honor the previously advertised price, stating that they "own it for more than that." Do they actually get away with treating customers like this? They are either inept, untrustworthy, or maybe both.

Wonderful experience
Billion Chevy in Iowa City gets my highest recommendation for purchasing, financing and servicing a new vehicle. We bought our Chevy Equinox from Billion and will not consider shopping elsewhere. Buying a new car can be a scary experience, but they made it very fun and comfortable. Everyone, from sales to service to finance, has been a dream to work with. I would suggest that anyone in the market for a new or used car stops at Billion first.

12Malibu
I went to Billion Chevrolet to look at new cars DJ (salesman) came out to meet us and was very helpful in showing us the different vehicles on the lot. We really didn't know what vehicle we were looking for but after listening to our needs he showed us both the new 2013 Malibu and a used 2012 Malibu. The 2012 had everything that we needed and saved us some money verses buying new. The paperwork didn't take very long and our car was detailed while we signing the papers. We have had some bad experiences in the past shopping for cars but this time it was great. Thank you Billion!

False Advertising
Found a vehicle that we were interested in and called on it. They told us that is was in Sioux Falls, SD location. When I asked about the price they told me it must have been a mistake. When all said and done the sales manager from Sioux Falls called and wanted me to call manager in Iowa City. I did just that and the guy treated me like he had no clue. When I called back to Sioux Falls manager...was treated very poorly. I can honestly say I have never been so offended & disrespected and felt very attacked. Would NEVER recommend them to anyone and can't believe the lack of professionalism!!!

It sounds like you have every reason to be upset! Please accept our apology for the miscommunication between store managers. This certainly should not have happened and we will take steps to assure this doesn't happen again!
Won't go back
Typical hard sell from the salesmen. It went on and on, and after we finally bought the car they messed up the paperwork and we ended up having to do a lot of the legwork ourselves, and they didn't complete minor service work on the car that we were assured would be done. It was not a very pleasant buying experience. I won't go back again.

I had my vehicle recently serviced at the new billion facility and man! they are awesome and so helpful with all my needs, they back their work 100% and their products!! Haven't seen such good customer service at a dealership EVER!!!
