Wanted to charge 17000 for repairs on used 2013 audi.

Wanted to charge 17000 for repairs on used 2013 audi. Then charged me 660 for diagnostic . They were friendly enough . But price was unreasonable . Can't believe they try to take people hard earn money in society like this. Especially jard working people just trying to make it right. Just wanted car to be worked on by audi to get it done right but not all the necessity that needed to be added to make the car need 17,000 dollars of work. Never I. My life have I seen I price like that for repairs. Never again.

Be aware of this location's scam masters, particularly

Be aware of this location's scam masters, particularly Sam Brandes, their Pre-own Manager. I was interested in their 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo with VIN#: WP0AD29948S783684 in this location with 39k miles. I sent them an email to inquire about its availability and originally they told me the vehicle was sold. Within 2 days I got another email from their Pre-Owned Sales Manager Samuel Brandes that the vehicle was back in the market. I was concerned to why this vehicle came back into the market, so I give this location the benefit of doubt and bought Samuel's story that the deal fell through because the previous prospective customer had a 2002 Ferrari 360, and per Samuel, he crashed it. From start I was very clear with Samuel that I was going to travel to their establishment from Virginia and it was going to take me a total of 6-8 hours, he kept on insisting that the car was in great shape and he even sent me a PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) report that was supposedly done by Lemon Squad, sure enough he sent me the report and to be frank it looked too good to be true. In the next 3- 4 days Sam being a scam artist worked his magic to earn my trust and I didn't even negotiate with him and I made a cashier's check made payable to them and I drove to their dealership, (Audi Wilmington) on Saturday 5/25/24. Upon my arrival I met with Sam and the associate who was tasked to take care of the paperwork for me. They were rather pushy towards me to take the car for a test drive and I normally like to look at the car of this caliber before I take it for a test drive. I had taken a good friend of mine who is very familiar with these cars, he plugged his computer to the car and we found out that the door locks were not functioning with the remote, I shared my concern with the sales representative, Zain and he said it may need a battery, I asked him to put a new battery on the remote and sure enough that was not the issue, he quickly offered me $1,000 as concession to mask the issue, I declined his offer. At this point I decided to take the car for a test drive, before I could leave their parking lot I heard a very strange noise from rear end of the car, once again I give them the benefit of doubt and told myself let the tires warm up and we will see, sure enough the noise persisted and my tech friend suggested that we scan the car with his computer while driving. Now we have solid proof that the transmission was done. The computer showed that the clutch was slipping, at this point I made my way back to the dealer and the sale's person Zain came out and I told him about my finding of the Transmission, Zain was not shocked at all, in fact he was calm and took the key from and wished me a good day. That give me the vibe that they both knew about this major issue. I tried to call Sam from their lot, he was nowhere to be found. I drove back home and Sam didn’t have the audacity to sent a simple text or email to see what went wrong. I then emailed him and told him I was disgusted by how he handled this transaction. I also have opened a complaint against them in Audi Of North America to make them aware of how the Name of Audi is being used in this location. All buyers be aware of this location and don’t be fool with the fancy building and decent prices and most certainly DO NOT BE FOOLED by Sams smooth personality.

My wife and I purchased an Audi Q5 e from Winner Audi

My wife and I purchased an Audi Q5 e from Winner Audi Wilmington and our experience was nothing short of amazing. We could not recommend working Zane Manzer any more highly. He is professional, courteous, and very responsive to inquiries. He helped us navigate our purchase from over 75 miles away while going above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Zane and Sam (the sales manager) were transparent throughout the process. They even washed to car in order to make sure there weren't any dings on imperfections in the paint (then sent detailed photos to us). The finance team was even able to beat the "Diamond Preferred" customer rate offered by my personal bank. The vehicle pick up was quick and painless, with everything being done as promised before we arrived. Run, don't walk, to Audi Wilmington if you're in the market for a New, used, or CPO Audi. Ultimately customers who patronize this dealership are the real Winners!

Bought a 2019 Jaguar F-Type 33,000 miles on it.

Bought a 2019 Jaguar F-Type 33,000 miles on it. Told sale people I was driving from Pa. to Florida and wanted the car to be in good shape. I was assured it was fine. when it was delivered to me I took it to a know Jaguar dealer to have it inspected------ it FAILED. when I drove it to the dealership it pulled to the left.I told them I needed a Pa. inspection -they told me I needed : Rotors,Brakes, and tires. cost 5,700.00 contacted two sales people and left a few messages with the Manager. Sent a copy of the bill and NEVER heard back from anyone. this was October 5th This was a Gallery vehicle and will not consider a higher end vehicle from this company again. I considered this car not safe to drive to Florida and advise anyone to consider their safety before buying.

Dealer response

Dear Abboni35, We are sorry we were not able to make your experience an exceptional one, and it saddens me to respond to a review like this. I feel compelled to go into detail because I do not feel as though it was warranted and an accurate representation of what transpired. Yes, we received your inquiries, and you had a conversation with Sam regarding your concern. You did reach out to me via email as well while I was out of the country, and I replied, letting you know that I instructed Sam to make sure your concerns were addressed. You acknowledged receipt and replied that you would speak to him about it. This vehicle passed a safety inspection in our shop and nothing was neglected. We re-condition all our retail vehicles accordingly based on what safety items need attention, specifically tires and brakes. We do not cut corners to save costs at a potential buyers expense. You took the vehicle took a Jaguar shop who immediately failed items that would otherwise pass state inspections. Am I surprised (that after being in the industry for 20+ years) that a Jaguar dealership ultimately condemned a Jaguar that was sold by an Audi dealership and gladly accepted $5,700 from you? Absolutely not. The rotors were not measured via a micrometer by us because we do not do that with non-Audi's and only replace rotors if there is an excessive pulsation, rust corrosion, or heavy lip on the edge. The brake pads and tires had more than 60% life on them as well. This is a summary of the events: -The vehicle passes all mechanical inspections, is offered for sale, and subsequently sold -Buyer takes it to a Jaguar dealership who essentially says our dealership is incompetent and sells you $5,700 worth of tires and brakes -You reached out to us upset (understandably so), and we pulled our records to find out how they could claim this -Our records indicate that the items sold to you were not flagged at all by our technical staff and passed state safety standards, showing over 60% of life left -You wanted us to reimburse you, which we did not do because we were not given a chance to speak with the shop and dive further into the items in question and why they stated it needs $6K in maintenance -You are now leaving 1-star reviews around the internet To frame it using an everyday item that people can relate to, I will use this analogy: -You buy a used iPad from an electronics retailer. -You take it to the Apple store who says that it needs a new software update and internal processor update (even though it operates correctly) -You approve Apple to do the work for $500 -You then call the electronics dealer and tell them they owe you $500 because the Apple store said you needed these items (again, the iPad works fine and was sold as a "pre-owned" iPad, and priced as such) -They say they cannot reimburse for it and you should have spoken to them before spending the money, assuming they would reimburse you. -Thomas Mihok & The Audi Wilmington Management Team

I was looking to lease a etron gt from this dealership,

I was looking to lease a etron gt from this dealership, but it turned into a nightmare. After all paperwork has been submitted, even brought insurance ,they told me there was a mistake and we can’t honor the deal because we make a mistake on the residual of the vehicle. Instead of making things right. He make an offer to me that is worst, a deal with marked up rates and Audicare ,way worst then the deal agreed on. Instead on making things right, they told to go pound sand and buy from someplace else. Worst service I had at a dealership

Dear Jing (Mark), I'm sorry to see you continuing to leave negative reviews around the internet. To be fair, the public should know the context of why you are unhappy. While looking at a $125,000 car, you demanded we as a business agree to a payment you wanted to pay, and I declined to agree to said transaction. You openly admitted to me that you could not get the same deal locally to you (which is a few states away from our dealership), and that we were offering a very aggressive price. I could not discount the vehicle anymore to accommodate your desired payment, and you wanted to "haggle" over $50 a month on a monthly payment that is already higher than most American's mortgage payment. You wanted me to show empathy for you because the payment was so high and as a business we should always make the customer right. I found it difficult to agree with your logic while so many families are struggling right now to pay for many basic commodities. If that makes us a horrible dealership, then I guess I need to do some self-reflection on our business operations. I do not like having to share lengthy details like this on a Google review response, but guests who read these reviews should also get the chance to have clarity on the full interaction. Thomas Mihok, General Manager

Consumer response

Update 10/11/23 Spoke to the GM yesterday, turns out he has not interest in resolving this issue. Claiming I’m bullying them and making unreasonable demands.

Consumer response

Update 11/7/23 I tried once again to buy another vehicle from this dealer, was hoping to make things right, guess I was too naive:( turns out they are playing mind games with me, telling me yes, we can do a deal on a vehicle I’m interested in and in the end, no we can’t cause you left us a bad review, then no, we can’t sell because you are out of our area. Dealer also left fake reviews for my business just to get back at me. Have to threaten that I would report them to the state general office to get it removed. What a joke. I mean is that how you do business? They say we are a private business. We can do whatever we want. Any ways, I take it as a lesson learned. Buyers be aware!

Worked with Chris in the past. He is the reason I left Mercedes and returned to Audi. Professional and gentlemanly, he made my wife feel very comfortable in a process she normally dislikes.
