Morrie's Minnetonka Subaru

I had a rather good experience buying a used 2018 Nissan Leaf from Morrie's Minnetonka Subaru. I do feel that the amount I was given for my 2015 Prius trade-in was on the low side and I could have gotten about $1000 more by trading in my Prius to Caravan or another dealership. However, the LEAF was too good of a deal to pass up. As the LEAF is an all-electric vehicle and from a different automobile manufacturer, Hani was not as familiar with the vehicle as he would have been with a Subaru. Some of my questions were not answered or not answered correctly. Still, I am happy with the vehicle. One recommendation: Plug-in and change an electric vehicle before you let the buyer drive off the lot. You'd fill a gasoline powered vehicle with gasoline before it left the lot. We were somewhat concerned that we would not be able to make it home. Luckily, we were.

Went in honestly looking to get a price for a trade in and scope out a new car, did not expect to walk out of there in a brand new vehicle! The process was easy, the staff was very thorough in explaining everything to me (I at no point felt like they were trying to rush me to get a sale), and everyone was very attentive. I've had some terrible car shopping experiences before, especially as a woman going to a dealership alone, and I was so thrilled when it was clear that that didn't matter at all. They were also very careful to follow COVID procedure, didn't see a single person in the building/lot not wearing a mask when they were supposed to.

This was the first dealership that didn’t have Sales People throwing themselves out of their chairs like previous dealers that I’ve visited where I wasn’t even in the market to buy a vehicle. As soon as I called for an inquiry, speaking to Steve Poley, and I was there in 30 minutes with the vehicle that I was interest in waiting to be test driven which I did end up buying! I wasn’t rushed into the decision nor were the sales representatives looming, which I appreciated in order to come to a decision. During the whole process, Steve made sure to check in with us to know where the status was with my new car, and where finance was with the process. My boyfriends Mother purchased her 2016 Subaru Outback here, and I’m so happy that I followed suit with my 2015 Subaru Forster. 15/10, I would recommend to someone who’s looking for a Dealer who makes their customers feel like a part of the family without feeling the need to buy a vehicle due to pressure. Morrie’s is one of a kind! Thank you!
