My experience is not what I expected buying from a dealership. The process was long, frustrating, several times I was given misinformation causing me to overspend and unknowledgeable sales person that left 2 hours before I was able to leave. I believe she came in on her day off but I would have preferred to work with someone who was scheduled that day and could have seen things through. I spent over 3 hours at the dealership with a newborn and there was no care to get me out of there at reasonable time; I had to leave with my baby screaming. I already had vehicle picked, money down and did not need to test drive. Since all of this was done before I got there I would have expected an hour ish. My 3 hours was dealing with a sales person who knew in advance I was buying car but still knew very little about the car and told me several wrong things. 1) I was told car didn't have sunshades so I paid over $500 to have them added (car did in fact already have them). It was almost a month before this was refunded and I was told sales associate and sales manager would be in touch. They never reached out and I was not refunded sales tax. 2) I was told car had inside LED lights. Not true. 3) I was told car had auto dimming side mirrors. It did not. Dealership had these installed after so I'm okay with what happened there 4) I was told adding door edge guard was a clear film that you couldn't see. I paid $200 and it is a bulky white piece that sticks out. After having to call again and argue they sort of made it right by taking off door guards and putting money on my principle which was not my preference and again did not reimburse me for sales tax. 5) Inside car had a 2 scuff marks. I had to ask 3 people before it was actually cleaned. Again since I put money down I would have expected vehicle to be cleaned up before I got there. 6) Finance associate I worked with started off saying it was important I had a good experience. Then he told me he was the director and doesn't do finance selling part...I didn't believe that line and immediately couldn't trust him. They had the incorrect pay off amount for my trade in vehicle. I've had to spend more time with my bank to correct then I've had to spend with them when going private party. Dealership over charged me on pay-off amount and it's been a month and vehicle is still not paid off by dealership. So in the meantime I've had to pay interest on a vehicle that they have. I'm still waiting to see what is happening with this step as vehicle is still not paid off and my credit card has been overcharged. Since I bought the car I haven't heard from my sales associate once (at this point I'm glad). One positive I do have is working with Mary- she seemed to be the only one who cared that I was there so long and my situation with my baby. All I wanted was an easy, fast process and not to have to call once. We're a month out and things are still not resolved.

We were very impressed with the Morris’s Minnetonka Subaru dealership. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Our salesman, Paul was walking the lot as we drove through and he convinced us to just get out of our car so he could show us the used car options he had...before you know it he sold us a brand new car!

You brace yourself going in to buy a car, preparing for the potentially “pushy car salesman”, especially as a young woman. At Morrie’s, that does not happen. Instead, you get friendly people who don’t try to “push” anything on you. They listen and explain the whole process step-by-step. The smooth transaction and very helpful staff made my first car buying experience easy and truly stress-free! Tatjana is very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I was immediately comfortable and didn’t feel embarrassed to ask “stupid” questions. She answered every question, and never applied pressure. I left with the perfect pre-owned Subaru! The entire experience exceeded my hopes and expectations.

Everyone we dealt with were polite, competent, and friendly.. We got our car promptly and the features were explained by our salesman Mark Mathiasen. We would recommend him and Morrie’s to others.
