A Real Pleasure!
My husband and I worked with Paul Carbonara in purchasing our Jeep Wrangler. We are new to the area and only had experience with another Wilmington dealership that turned out to be very disappointing. We saw a jeep online from Bluewater Motorsports, requested a showing, and within minutes we received a call from Paul confirming our appointment. When we arrived to see the jeep, it was in the front of the lot ready for us to see and test drive. Not only did we love the vehicle but we bought it on the spot. After quick negotiation on our trade in, we felt so at ease with everyone there and the paperwork was a breeze. We were able to drive home with our jeep that day! Customer service is extremely important to us since it is the lasting impression one will always have. We would recommend Bluewater Motorsports and Paul Carbonara to anyone knowing they will be well taken care of!

Buying a 128i BMW
You can erase the congratulations posted about my purchase on their site. As it turns out it was congrats for 2 days and 21 hours. THEN the starter went out. $985 to repair - no help from Blue water. And the whole thing was not done remotely - my brother-in-law (in Wilmington) visited and did a test drive so don’t say I’m an ignorant remote buyer. Steven did a good job but don’t trust the company. In addition his management was extremely pushy. Beware all buyers!

Hello again Nancy. We are really sorry that happened so quickly. Just so you know our process, every one of our vehicles go through a 125 point inspection before we sell them. And your BMW with only 39k miles passed with flying colors on 03/19. And as you said, your brother in law checked the car out and said it was "perfect". We cannot control repairs on a vehicle whether it is 2 days or 2 years down the line of ownership and that is why we offer world class warranties that can be used anywhere in the US. But that was declined. Even though your comment does not help a small business, especially in these times, we have still been trying to help in any way we can. The buyer beware comment really is not justified since we have a great reputation in our community and do what we can for our customers. To the extent we paid full shipping on a flat bed truck to your front door 185 miles away to keep everyone safe. Again we are sorry it happened but maybe the shop that is charging 985 to put a starter in should receive this comment.

Sold me a vehicle with nonworking driver side headlights, turn signal and fog lights. I didnt notice it before I left the dealership but for a 12500 dollar vehicle I wasn't expecting the lights not to be working.

Great Buying Experience
I dealt with Steven, Paul and the General Manager Greg. They made it so easy to purchase a vehicle, I really couldn't believe it. I purchased a used Nissan and absolutely love it. Thanks again for the low pressure approach! This was the 4th dealership I tried and definitely the best.

Great Place
I recently purchased a 2009 ford mustang from Bluewater sports. I have never had a car buying experience like it. The dealership was fast and friendly. It only took 2 hours from start to finish. I will definitely purchase from them again!
