Wyoming Valley Auto Sales

I went to this dealership after seeing a vehicle i was interested in online. When i went down i found a few other vehicles that matched what i was looking for and left with a vehicle that day. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought a used Honda CR-V from this dealership and posted an honest, factual 3 star review of my experience on Cars.com. Soon afterward I received a letter from a lawyer representing Wyoming Valley Auto Sales, threatening legal action unless I remove or change my review. There was nothing in my review that was slanderous or unfactual. I felt that the three star review I gave them was a positive review for them since they have over 20 '1 star reviews' from other people. Last time I checked we live in the United States of America and I can exercise my first amendment rights to share my experiences with other consumers. I feel as though this letter and threat is completely ridiculous and heinous. Since then I have had some problems with the vehicle beyond what I originally encountered. In my opinion and collective experience this is a 1 star dealership and I would not advise doing business with them.

Figured I'd write a review since I actually purchased a vehicle from them. Was weary at first due to many terrible reviews on this lot but I had an ok experience. Drove several hours to look at a 05 Honda CR-V manual trans (uncommon car). I had one before that got totaled in an accident. When we arrived Karl was very helpful with letting us check out the vehicle. The eye test gave this car a thumbs up. Almost zero rust for the age, low miles, good condition. Test driving it though the rear wheel bearing was completely shot making horrendous noise. It wasnt safe to drive over 40mph. And the airbag light passenger side was on. Since I've had one of these cars before knowing they don't have any issues besides wear and tear items (wheel bearings, etc). I decided to make an offer contingent on them fixing it's issues. They were happy to make that deal and oblige. My complaint with them is that the vehicle (and all of their vehicles) had a fresh inspection sticker on it. That car NEVER should have legitimately passed an inspection with the wheel bearing the way it was. I pointed this out and the owner was extremely defensive while giving off the typical "used car salesman vibe" that everyone hates. Anyway they did end up fixing it and I haven't had any issues since other than some tire noise due to slightly un-even treadwear. No big deal I will correct it when it's time for new tires. But just be weary and really really look over or get a mechanic to inspect these cars before you buy. Otherwise they do have some quality vehicles at good prices on their lot. And they were willing to fix the issues it had.

If there was a negative -100 I would rate it that. Horrible unsafe car. Drove 7 weeks they had my car for 6 months I said Lawyer car was towed next day totally Dead. Beware Stay away from Wyom valley Auto run because you won't be driving anything. Paid cash!!!

This Gentleman took my repeated calls and tons of questions with grace and humor. I was never made to feel I was an imposition or that if I purchased there that I would be "just another sale " We ended up purchasing a different vehicle closer to us but I am absolutely positive if we had purchased from him it would have been a good, solid stand up transaction with a good man.

If there was a negative star scale, I would of done it to negative infinity. Don't waste your time with this dealership, cars are of very poor quality. I found a VW GTI and was driving 80 miles to see the car. Prior to going to see the vehicle, I called the dealership and I asked if it would be worth my while to travel that distance for the car. If there was anything it would need. The dealer employee who I spoke with assured me that it was inspected and serviced. I reiterated to him, that I wanted to make sure my drive and time would be worth my time. His response was "I have been in business for 38 years." Needless to say, when I arrived, the facilities were deplorable and the cars on the lot were low quality. When I went in and asked about the car, the sales rep gave me the key. I knew right away this was a bad vehicle. The remote did not work, sign that battery was dead. When inside car, tried to start car, nothing,zero, zip. Popped the trunk and the engine compartment was missing part of one of the coil packs and the air intake, so much for being serviced and inspected. Stay away from this dealer at all costs....negative infinity rating.

We arrived at the dealership and was greeted by the owner son. We were looking for a SUV with mileage under 100,000. The owner son showed us a black MERCURY Mariner. After inspecting the vehicle the car was very dirty, meaning no one even attempted to vacuum out the car. I lifted the rear seats and there were girls plastic butterfly burretts, crayons and other stuff left by the previous owner. Lifted the rear gate and it had a water leak which can be seen under the carpeting. Moldly white substance on carpeting too. I'm assuming from the water leak. He asked if we wanted to drive the car and we politely said no. On our way off the lot the owner came out and wondered what the problem was. We explained and showed him what we saw. He said what do you expect for a 10 year old car. He showed us another same results FILTHY. We left and will never come back

Great service! Everybody on staff went above and beyond what you would expect with any typical used car dealership. The owner Fred could not be any more friendly or accomodating. Highly recommend to anybody looking for a fairly priced and reliable used vehicle!

What a great experience! I went car shopping not really knowing what I wanted. The salesman showed me a variety of options and was very patient with me as I spent most of the afternoon test driving cars. They made the entire process easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
