McGrath City Honda

Knowing full well that my credit was challenged I embarked on the long strenuous process of trying to buy a car. The weather was anything but pleasant, -50 below zero with windchill so we decided to pay a visit to Mcgrath Honda. We met Arthur who test drove us in three different vehicles and he even parked them inside so we would not have to inspect them in the freezing cold. He worked over the benefits of each model and we decided to make a purchase, we went over into finance where Dante went over the warranty as well as the apr information. These guys are awesome come see them for your next car, special shout out to Arthur

There has never been a time I've visited the dealership for service and I've received bad service! When I arrive I'm greeted immediately and that's just heart warming. My McGrath staff is like family everyone is so warm and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I especially love when the new sales rep try and offer me a new car and I tell them my sales Rep Dave Glass will not allow this.... I would definitely do my homework before visiting this dealership, although the car was in decent condition the negotiation process was tougher then most. The vehicle needed some repairs to be made before I would buy it. I spent about 3 hours negotiating to finally walk out after we were too far apart in the price of the car and my trade-in value. The salesman actually did call me back after a few days to tell me I was unrealistic in my trade-in and when I came to my senses and gut my price, we could make a deal. Interesting, as right after I hung up the phone I called another dealership and purchased the same model, one year newer, better condition, for the same price that night! I also got the price that I wanted on my trade and had a better negotiation experience to boot.

Almost a year ago i went to McGrath City Honda looking to buy a used certified car as soon as i got there i was greeted and asked how they can help me so i told them what i was looking for so they took me around the dealership and they have good cars i ended up buying a certified 2010 Honda Accord. The buying process was ok but the problems came after i but the car the sales guy his name is Jose in 4 months could not even get me the owners manual for the car giving me excuses like it takes a while and i had it here in my drawer somebody stoled it then i wanted to cancel my extended warranty so i went and talked to Moises he works in the finance department and we did all the paper work and supposely he faxed everything and he said it would take 1 or 2 months to get the money back. After 3 almost 4 months i emailed him asking him if he knew why it was taking so long to get the money back but he never replied and 2 weeks later i went to see him and he gave me an excuse and said that he was going to sent the paperwork so after 6 and a half months i finally got reimbursed if i ever go back i dont want to deal with Jose and Moises because of their bad customer service.

Dave was excellent!!! He worked very hard to get me the best deal for the car I absolutely wanted. Also, he ensured that I received the max price on trade in with my vehicle. If you want to buy a Honda....Ask for DAVE!!

Dave is a concerned and knowledgable salesman. He took time to explain and if he did not know something he admitted it and acquired the information necessary. He is honest and fair. Kudos to Dave and his team. If I ever need another car (this one may be good for 200,000 miles) I will call him first. Thank you Dave, thank you McGrath Honda for having the used car which I bough and having a salesman of Dave's caliber on your staff. Dave, do not let the Franks of the world get you down. You are an honorable man.

I called spoke to Akira, which told me to come in, which I did. Akira, handed me off to Dave. I told Dave my wants and requirements. From there Dave was able to get me into a 2010 Honda Civic at a "AWESOME" price with no haggling required that meet my wants and requirements. Dave was very pleasant and funny, he made sure to answer all my questions and accommodate all my requests. I would suggest McGrath City Honda to anyone looking to make a new or used car purchase. Right from the very first email from Dave we were being treated with respect. When we called to set an appt time, George immediately placed us as his number 1 priority. They worked with us two days ensuring that we got a fair value on our trade-in and even put us into a car with less mileage and all the same options as what we originally looked at, all for around the same pricing. They told us the car would be there in the morning and when the driver hadn't delivered it George treated us to lunch. We were already sold on buying from them based off of the outstanding customer service, this really cemented the whole transaction. I am willing to pay a little more for good customer service than get a screaming deal and be talked down to. Working with this team we didn't have to pay extra for the great service, it was who they were and it really tells a lot about their character. If asked to recommend this dealership I would say yes, if asked to recommend these salesmen I would wholeheartedly vouch for their outstanding job taking care of my wife and I.

Did not personally purchase a Honda from Mcgrath but was the one who recommended my friend to go get her Accord there. There she worked with Arthur who worked as best as he can to get her in the car she wanted, and by the end of the day she was driving home in her very own Accord :) I wrote this review to suggest calling/emailing Arthur Matlosz if you are in the market for a pre-owned vehicle. He's direct, professional and funny all at the same time, all the qualities that can make car shopping less of a hassle!
