The service department is really lacking in knowledgeable

The service department is really lacking in knowledgeable people. I have taken my 2023 Tahoe to this service department 3 times and always leave frustrated. Yesterday was my 3rd visit to have only warranty/recall work done. I had an appointment but the service tech, William Bennett did not know why I was there and seemed to be unaware of the engine recalls that GMC is experiencing. I showed him my GMC letter and finally got through to him. We agreed that I was dropping it off at 7:30 am and needed it back by 3:00. When I was leaving, the tech stated that he hoped my morning got better for me. I told him my morning was just fine until coming to Modern's Service Dept. Well 3:00 didn't happen due to computer issues they were having so my Tahoe stayed the night. They did complete the inspection on the engine this morning and I went to pick it up at 11:30. I ask the tech to go over what was done and he stated that he had already told me on the phone but would do it again. I had to ask him about the new extended warranty on the engine and the update to the owners manual. He finally explained that it would be coming from GMC. He pointed to my car in the lot and walked away. Typically they would bring the vehicle to you and they were not busy at all. The Tahoe still had the seat covers and floor paper in it as well as grease on the drivers seat. I drove it back in and the tech said that it didn't look like grease but he cleaned it off anyway. I found more grease on my door panel when I got home. I will never go to this service department again unless it is for warranty or recall issues. The rude behavior of this tech is not acceptable, even if he work at a fast food place - much less a large dealership.

I called as soon as I saw the amazingly low prices on

I called as soon as I saw the amazingly low prices on line. I reviewed the MSRP, all the details and was prepared to purchase. I requested the OTD price and got it very fast. There was a $2995.00 fee added stating it's a dealer add on package, but the car was an LT model that already had everything listed as included. Also, the zip code was put in as the same as the dealer which made the tax price way off (under) what taxes are where I live. I asked why he didnt ask me my address and he said my inquiry on line showed I lived there? This is a six hour drive-that needless to say I did not drive there for a vehicle. The salesman seemed bothered to have to answer questions and as if he was reading out of a book half asleep! The internet prices shown are very far off from actual.

If you need a car go see Tonya. She is all about customer service. She was knowledgeable about the truck I purchased. She answered all my questions. Even after the sale she has been helpful with follow-up answers. Modern chevrolet has found a diamond of a sales person. She brings honesty to your sales force. Tonya help with my trade in getting the best price. It was a pleasure working with her and I am completely satisfied. I will recommend her to anybody looking for a vehicle. I visited Modern Chevrolet in Winston-Salem on Monday

I visited Modern Chevrolet in Winston-Salem on Monday while looking to purchase a new car. The salesman who met me at the door was very nice, helpful, and professional—my poor opinion of the dealership is in no way a reflection on him. My issue was with the pricing. In my opinion, the advertising was misleading. The vehicle I was interested in was listed online at a certain price, but once they gave me their numbers (including my trade-in, which I fully knew was only worth about \$500), the difference was over \$4,000 higher. I couldn’t shake the feeling that, because I’m an older man with a title in hand, they thought they could take advantage of me. Two days later, the salesman did call to listen to my concerns and said he’d pass them along to management, which I appreciated. Still, I left with a very misleading impression of the dealership’s pricing practices.

My expectations were far exceeded.

My expectations were far exceeded. Juan the sales rep i was dealing with reached out to me multiple times and went beyond in answering any questions I had. I was also impressed with how fast the process was handled and could tell my time was NOT being wasted. I will definitely reach back out for my next purchase. 10/10

Very disappointed, lied to, belittled, rushing, total rip

Very disappointed, lied to, belittled, rushing, total rip off. Finance guy was so RUDE, hateful and belittling would not recommend. Most horrible experience at a dealership we have ever experience. Tried to sell us a 2019 traverse that had glass in the passenger door and leaking roof. Then sold us a new traverse that said it only had 5 miles on it, lied we ended up with one that had 65 miles on it, also when salesman showed us online they had 4 and the base one we looked at with him had 5 miles and when I checked my phone to look at it more, it stated on the window sticker it was from the Winston Salem location, when we went back to see the one they had given us it actually came had Clemmons on the window sticker instead and more miles! They straight up lied to us. Completely lost our trust and wouldn't recommend to anyone, they could have done better than they did to us, most horrible experience ever at a dealership how we were treated. They should fix all this!

Always courteous and friendly. My car is always serviced in a timely manner. Mr Bittle explains what services are due and gets my approval beforehand. I?m comfortable to read a book while I wait !

Communication was horrible in this experience.

Communication was horrible in this experience. Had an appointment scheduled for an oil change and additional things that need to be looked at on the car. That?s not even a year old and having issues?. Supposedly it took them four hours to look at one thing that they ended up saying they could do nothing for because the manufacturer won?t replace it until it?s fully broken?. The window drags as it?s coming down and they will not replace it until it gets stuck?. They did not even complete the oil change. Also once we did drop off the vehicle when they said for us to they claim do not know where our vehicle was then claimed they knew where it was. They just couldn?t find the key?.. very bad communication at this location. I seem to always have an issue every time I take my vehicle there?. You get nowhere without having to be rude. I always try to be kind and courteous and patient, but they seem to take advantage of that.

Will help you get in a screwed up vehicle when it needs

Will help you get in a screwed up vehicle when it needs repair for same thing over and over again and still doesn’t work talk to general manager about options and he says he will check things out and get back to you never expect a call back. Have had our car for over 7 months now yes we have a loaner but still making our payments and insurance Don’t even know how to update until I call and complain about not getting updates It’s very unprofessional and I wish we could get buyback or something else and just be done with the situation. Over 7 months is just a crazy joke
