This service department should be investigated for a litany of illegal practices. Bait and switch, performing work without authorization and the list goes on. Stay very far away from this dealership. They should have their allocations halted and their franchise pulled.

I was a customer of peake bmw for over 15 yrs after purchasing new cars (335 and 435 Grand coupe). I attempted to have my 9 yr old car serviced there. It required 5 + hrs of work & the rep. said i ciuld not stay there to wait. I live an hour away and was also refused a loaner car. Only offered a nearby drop off. The work estimate was $2,000. Rudest jerks at. service dept. i have ever dealt with. Owned to Lexuses orior to BMWs and Lexus could not have been more accommodating. Peake is a sad representation of what BMW should be. Too bad Roland andJason Laporte are no longer there! Worst BMW dealership in La. Am being “forced “ to buy a new Mercedes so I dont have deal with the level of incompetence or rudeness that is doled out by Peake. Good riddance!

I visited Peake BMW for a routine brake pad replacement.

I visited Peake BMW for a routine brake pad replacement. Initially, I was informed it was merely a sensor issue, yet I was still advised to opt for a $300 brake package, which I approved. However, upon leaving, my dashboard illuminated with multiple warning lights. I returned immediately, and the dealership then claimed my brakes had deteriorated and required an additional $700 repair. They also diagnosed issues with the VANOS solenoids. I consented to over $1,000 in repairs, trusting their expertise. Unfortunately, the problems persisted. The warning lights reappeared, and the next day, my vehicle broke down, necessitating a tow back to the dealership at my expense. Subsequently, I was informed of a $3,000 repair requirement, with potential for further issues. Throughout this process, I was consistently assured that my car was “safe.” Seeking clarity, I consulted an independent mechanic who confirmed that the VANOS solenoids had been improperly installed and that several recommended repairs were unnecessary. I attempted to address these concerns directly by delivering a formal complaint to the general manager. Regrettably, it was declined, and I was directed to their legal counsel. This experience has been both financially and emotionally taxing. I hope sharing this will inform others and encourage the dealership to prioritize transparency and customer care. Steer clear, there’s a reason for all the 1 star reviews.

Worst customer service ever.

Worst customer service ever. This dealership is a joke. No care for customer satisfaction! My car was side swiped and we figured bringing it to a BMW facility it would be fixed properly. When going to pick up the cars paint had runs in it. When leaving it there to be fixed properly was called 3 hours later and told the car was fixed. A week later now the clear coat is peeling. When told to come in to drop off. Now being told they don't have a rental because of holiday. 2nd in command Mr Barnes comes to lobby to talk to me said he reached out to my husband who has been out of town and informed him that the rental wouldn't be available untill tomorrow! Why would communication start with my husband? No communication was ever made with my husband at all durning this process. Everything has went through me. When asked to talk to the 1 person higher in command then him was told hes at the top, called me by the wrong name and stated that he won't argue with me. No customer satisfaction at all.. worst dealer I have ever dealt with. I have own almost every kind of car. This is absolutely worst customer care I have ever dealt with. I can promise you this is and will be the last time I use this dealership for absolutely anything. And I have told everyone iknow with a BMW to never use this place again.

The service department is such a scam.

The service department is such a scam. They will find any excuse to avoid covering stuff under warranty. They will lie and come up with xx reasons and pad the bill to the customer. There is a reason why people drive to Baton Rouge and surrounding areas for their BMW needs. They can't even keep a service manager - always changing hands.

Peake BMW has horrible service.

Peake BMW has horrible service. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 30 years and their service has declined over the past two years. The service technician dented the hood on my car and did not tell anyone until we were driving off and noticed the damage. They also left grease all over my light colored seats and did not replace screws on the trim. The service manager avoids phone calls. Buyer beware.

Far and away the worst dealer service I have ever

Far and away the worst dealer service I have ever encountered. Absolute garbage. The millisecond the sale is done, you move to the junk pile. The "service" advisor doesn't bother to look at what your appointment is about until you get there, and acts as if you're the idiot for expecting them to have what they need to perform the service THEY SCHEDULED. I would drive 3 hours out of my way to avoid these hacks.

Been dealing with them on a lease for over two years. Consistently slick bordering on dishonest, staff is rude and not helpful and everything is someone else's fault. terrible service at a luxury price. i wonder if it's all BMW or just these guys, but i won't deal with either after this.
