Unprofessional - beware

Never made it to the dealership. Called before they opened. Spoke with Angie. Told her I would be there before 6pm. Asked her to call me if the car sells so we won’t waste a 5 hr round trip drive. Buying for my 16 yr old son. Made plans to get off work early, get my son out of school. Drove 1 out of 3 hrs towards Va Beach Called Angie to double check and she informs us it’s getting detailed and oil change and no way we can see today. BS. I can change oil and wash a car in much less time than the 8 hrs they need. Told us to come back Sat. Are they not in business to sell? Fortunately for us I had a cashiers check in hand she will not be depositing. Other buyers beware of the warning signs. She interrupts you when talking, does not follow up and talks like she is in a hurry

Just Run otherwise bring a cautious mechanic

So we bought a truck months ago from this dealer. 5 minutes driving to gas station after purchase it’s check engine light On and all sorts of other sensors. We immediately called them and said we were coming back and we were not happy. We told them we contacted the bank and told them Lemon law does apply in VA. They wanted to do everything they could not to give the Bank check back. The mechanic they have was supposed to buy a new sensor and put it in right there. We later discovered when we got home it was just taken out not replaced. This was a brake system sensor. He also was supposed to change oil and fill coolant as the Manager had told us they would make sure it was good to go for a long drive to NC. We got home and wrong coolant in a diesel truck and the oil was so bad. Doesn’t stop there. Mechanic also said it was a solid truck we got home to replace the rusted muffler that had busted that was $1,200. This truck also will not pass inspection but not because of the converter that was taken off. We also had to call and call to find out where the title was as we needed them to send it to our county DMV due to Covid. The lady that deals with paperwork was extremely rude when The Manager 3 way called her. Trying to tell me “That’s not how we do it.” I told her excuse me? We bought this truck with bank check And we are active military and we know the process works And we are exempt from NC state taxes. and she quickly changed her tone. They promised to get it out by a date and took them 5 days later to mail out. So much xxxxxxxx had to go through and follow up that didn’t need to happen. We have faithfully been working on truck and adding all sorts of repairs but don’t go there if you can’t afford to pay for repairs before inspection. Most people buy a car that’s good to go and it’s unlikely by other site reviews that you will find it here. By the way they have the deal if you write a 5 star review you get a tank of gas free. So keep that in mind when reading reviews.

Very Helpful and Friendly Dealership!

My whole family came down on a Friday night to test drive a 2005 PT Cruiser to replace one that I had totaled in a wreck. We had a great experience test driving the car, and Ben, who was helping us, was very friendly to my car-obsessed 9 year old--as were all the dealership employees. I was ready to buy the car on the spot with a credit card, but the dealership prefers a bank check, so we decided to stay overnight in Virginia Beach. My husband had to get back to Williamsburg to get to work on Saturday morning, so my son and I took a cab to my credit union in the morning, had them cut a cashier's check for the purchase price, and Ben picked us up there. The buying experience went smoothly--what was slow was trying to get the insurance rider from GEICO. I spent close to an hour on hold on the phone before having my husband get us set up with an online transaction. The dealership was nice enough to print out my new insurance cards once they were emailed to my account. I am very happy with the vehicle. I noticed when driving home a very slight squeaking of the brakes, which I had not observed when test driving and took it to AAA Auto Care Center for a check, which I had planed to do anyway. The front brakes were fine, but the rear brakes were getting to the point where they needed to be replaced. Also, when test driving on the straightaways in VA Beach, the car shifted smoothly, and the GT Turbo engine had much more pickup than my old base model PT. Driving at much lower speeds as I was getting the car home, I noticed a hesitation in the shifting around 25 mph. I had AAA look into this, and I needed a transmission flush and filter. Otherwise, they told me, that the car needed nothing and looked to be in excellent condition. Now my new (to me) PT Cruiser is cruising along perfectly! Thank you, CARS USA!

Great place to purchase a vehicle. Everyone is so nice and the prices are great! There are lots of vehicles to choose from as well!

Worst purchase I ever made!

I purchased a 2006 VW Passat with only 106,000 miles in March 2018. I may have driven this car a total of four months since purchasing it because it’s needed so many repairs. I’m currently making monthly payments for the car to sit in my driveway, unable to drive it. Within the first month of purchasing it, I spent over $2,000 in repairs. They make sure to cover themselves so they are not liable for anything after they get your money. I asked about the maintenance on the car during my test drive and they said they have two different shops review their vehicles. If that’s the case, the problems that were found in that first month would have been dealt with because it wasn’t something that happens in just a few weeks. Including the purchase price, I have now paid over $10,000 total for a car I cannot drive.
