STAY AWAY. Deception, Bed Bugs, shady used car dealer tricks, Heritage Motors has it all I purchased a Porsche from them in October and was extremely disappointed in the transaction. I will save you from all the details but below are the serious issues faced in the first day. As a remote buyer in Texas, I informed them I would be driving the car 1200 miles home, and needed to rely on Toni's description of the condition of the car. -Kept my deposit: I provided my credit card to hold the car until the check arrived from my bank, they charged the deposit even after receiving the check which was overnighted.. -Bed bugs: Arriving home I found bed bugs climbing around the interior, disgusting! -Bad Alignment: Passenger side tire filled to 60psi, all the others were 35 psi, after removing the extra air in that tire, now the car pulls to the right. This is an old trick to make a car drive straight, covering up a bad alignment. -Major engine vacuum leak, Toni claimed their mechanic repaired before I left, in fact I paid more for the car because of the repair. Unfortunately I discovered a massive vacuum leak I temporarily repaired in a parking lot, I saw no evidence of any previous repairs.. -Couldn't pass TX inspection: I had to spend hundreds of dollars to get it to pass TX inspection, not sure how this thing passed VA inspection.. I have spent $2000 so far on getting this thing into driveable condition, and while I did have a mechanic inspect the vehicle prior to purchase, and we identified many of the major mechanical issues including the vacuum leak, Heritage Motors deception of the vehicle condition is extremely disappointing. I spoke with the GM Chase after arriving home and asked that they assist with making the vacuum leak right by providing the parts, he declined. Oh yea it also ran out of oil on the side of the highway. Maybe broken down, hood up at the side of the road is part of the Heritage Motors experience!

I recently purchased a SUV from this company last week....
I recently purchased a SUV from this company last week. prior to purchasing it I spoke to the sales woman Toni. She stated the truck was in perfect condition and nothing was wrong with the truck. I explained to Toni I live out of state and will not be able to travel up there to view the truck but if it's in perfect condition like she stated, I would like to purchase it. The sale price was $30,000 for the truck but we negotiated to $29,700. We finalized the deal and I had this truck shipped out to me at my expense. When the transport unit arrived with my truck we couldn't get it off the trailer because the key fob wasn't working. I had the key fob replaced by the dealership which was close to $200. When I started the vehicle up I noticed the GPS shows me sitting in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, OnStar not working, and driver assist service light on. I asked the dealership what was going on with the truck. They stated it needed a part and it would cost over $400 to be replaced. I then advised Toni of the situation and she stated" It's a used truck" ,it's going to be things here and there". I understand its used but not like a $1200 used car, This is a $30k truck and these problems that's going on with the truck is the first thing you noticed when u get in the truck,so you can't honestly tell me you didn't know about this. She admitted to knowing about the issues before selling the truck and not telling me about them . She then went on to tell me it's was nothing she can do to fix this issue (in which I was pretty mad because she lied just to make a sale.) She stated I can transfer you to our shop and see if they can help. The mechanic (Mike) stated the part I need they have it in stock and he is willing to sell it to me. Now I'm very pissed. Not only you had the part in which you could have replaced when the truck was on the lot, you have the audacity to try to sell me the part instead of fixing your wrongs that they already knew about. He said " He buddy, "I'm just doing what Toni told me to do". So I called the company several times requesting to speak to the owner, leaving message after message. No one returned my calls. I then talked to a guy named Chase today who made matters worse. He was already informed on my problems and messages I was leaving for the owner. He then said you can speak to the owner. I asked why he said " Well you don't go in Walmart asking to speak to the owner. He stated we are not about to lose commission to get your truck fixed.. Wow!! Now this is how a Salesman talk to a customer. He stated we did you a favor if you ordered the truck from us and not from somebody closer to you. He still refused to give me the owner contact information so I can inform him of this situation. And was very disrespectful on the phone (on a recorded line) so I hope the owner listen to that recording..10-6-20 20@10:42am.. Now Toni was very respectful and professional but she lied . She knew about the problems and didn't disclose them with me prior to selling.. Chase was very disrespectful and unprofessional. How do you have someone like that represent your company? Just to think my brother was about to order a truck from to you guys until I told him how this company really handle there customers. Be very cautious when dealing with this company. They tell you anything for a sell knowing the vehicle needs work then tell you " Well the vehicle is used," It's nothing we can do".I will not recommend this company to anybody with common sense.. If you are the owner(s). Please take my number from your records and give me a call so we can fix this situation which I'm assure you have no idea about.. Toni and Chase have my information..

2013 blue ML 350 $16,990
Friday I took the 2013. Blue ML350 they had selling online for 16K which my bank said the valued was only worth 15,100. Some things needed to be fixed as I started that to Rodney before I buy. Blindside was inoperative, service B exceeded 2500 miles, back Wipers, charging piece, tire pressure light was on, replace the key battery, and 2 keys. I went back to Tuesday ask was everything done. Rodney told me yes they were just looking into the blind spot and don't know how they missed that. I text Rodney on Wednesday Stating I need everything in writing on what was done to the vehicle he said ok. 20 mins later he said ” We only have the one key, unfortunately. Also, the plan B service would be something I would have to get done” My reply back ”You told me yesterday that was done. Ok, thanks and have a great day! ” So I had to start my search again, but it work out I bought 2015 50k miles 1 owner clean carfax, I didn't have to come out my pocket for anything vs I would have to put 2K down. I Think inwa ted heritage ML bv it was my fav color.

Great Service, No Hassle
I was very pleased with the sales rep Austin Owens, He answered my questions, gave me no pressure and worked with my financial parameters. The back office service was quick and I was able to purchase the vehicle in about 30 minutes.

Move on to CarMax or someone reputable
LONG BUT WORTH READING ((MILITARY BEWARE AND OTHERS)) If there was negative numbers there would be no doubt this post would be getting one. We are a military family and after moving literally across the world we had everything organized and in place for when we touched down in the states. We dealt with Toni and for some reason it seemed like she was not really wanting to help us. We moved past it and made arrangements for a fellow service member to pick up the vehicle and drop it at the airport. After 42 hours and 42 minutes of travel with children we were excited to get in the car and drive away and thats when it all began. When we got in the car there was an odor like no other which was absolutely despicable. As we left the airport there was a horrible sound coming from the vehicle and also a humming sound, of course we went to the dealership to get this taken care of. As we arrived to the dealership (ended up having to rent a car for 2 weeks) and dealt with the maintenance guy and though we figured it wouldn’t be an issue it was. The timing belt was bad and needed to be replaced and the owner had the audacity to say that we pay half and they will pay half. I think not! They did end up getting it “fixed” and it still sounds horrible. This dealership had to know about the awful condition this car was in and now we understand why people don’t like car dealerships and especially used dealerships. When we confronted the owner about the vehicle he lost his cool and told his maintenance guy that we were his problem and stormed off. This dealership is on the USAA car buying service and should be removed! They are difficult to deal with especially the owner. We contacted USAA and they encouraged us to get our money back due to the misinformation that it didn’t have any issues and of course the dealership wouldn’t take the car back because they already started to “fix” it. DON’T BUY FROM THEM. We are now stuck with this undependable car for our family which led us to go to CarMax and purchase another and they wouldn’t even take the piece of junk. The owner said he has a GREAT reputation with the military but he should be ashamed of himself and should have stood behind what he was selling.

Great experience!
My experience with Heritage Motor was phenomenal! Toni was an amazing sales associate and answered all of my questions from the time I first called inquiring about the vehicle all the way through my purchase. Never once was she pushy, trying to rush me into a sale, or make me feel like I was just a sales number. This was by far the best car buying experience I have had at a dealership. I couldn't be happier with how smooth and fast everything went. From the moment I pulled onto the lot to the time I left with my new car, it couldn't have been more than an hour. I appreciate that Toni and Heritage Motor didn't try to waste my time. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car. This was such a change from an experience I had last week from one of the bigger dealers in Virginia who claim to make you a "Priority" and made me leave feeling like I was getting pushed into a vehicle I didn't want. I'm glad I walked away and found Heritage Motor and got to work with Toni! She's the best!

Lying through omission!
Every car dealership has a certain level dishonesty. We all know that going in. They painted a rosy picture of the car we were interested in buying and having it shipped to us. When we got the vehicle and got in we were shocked how dirty the car was. They ran an Armor All rag over the interior... that was it. The biggest issue though was that the car had a cigar smoker driving it for a long time. When I mentioned it to the salesman his response was " I just sell what's on the lot" We had a specialist work on the smell and it just won't go away!! So now we will have to sell the car to a smoker... GREAT! Also: We paid cash and they also pulled a hard credit report on both my wife and I. Botton line: They suck
