Overall a Good Dealership
I came to purchase my first car at a dealership. Originally had a certain model that I saw online which I came to see and buy but unfortunately it was sold literally 10 minutes before I arrived. Had a great sales rep who worked with me and was able to show me a similar model for the same price, took it for a test drive, and drove it off the lot. Continuous contact by the dealership to follow up and all.

Good Customer Relation and Follow-up
I went to the cars.com website and found a car I would love to buy, but took too much time and lost the particular Vehicle,But I got several follow-ups by over 5 members of their staff asking me to contact them for similar options. I think this is very good follow-up cuustomer relationship and I have been cisiting the sire ever since to see if I would get a vehicle that is within my scope. Thank LYNN guys, I will make sure I buy from you soonest.

I admit I was hesitant to use this dealer based upon the previous reviews, but my experience was totally different. I went here to try out the Nissan Altima and Suburu Legacy. My salesman, Eddie Garcia, was great. We test drove both cars and he spent a lot of time talking about the differences of the two cars. They honored the truecar.com price without any hassles. I got a new 2013 3.6 Legacy that took 2 weeks to arrive. On pickup day I was out of there within 1.5 hours (my insurance company was responsible for half the wait).

We went to Lynne's in Bloomfield, NJ based upon a flyer...
We went to Lynne's in Bloomfield, NJ based upon a flyer we received advertising all sorts of great deals-got there and was talked into buying the 2012 Imprezza which we agreed to for the price; while waiting we fell in love with a pre-owned 2007 Saab 9.3 convertible, but chose to continue the deal with the new Imprezza. My husband signed the papers, we were told to clean out our vehicle, they tagged it for inventory, removed our plates and then the bombshell-they could not work the numbers to our satisfaction. This after spending almsot 5 hours there. Then Abe suggeted the Saab that we were oogling and that they could definitely work the numbers and then gave us a great price. We were so bummed over the loss of the Imprezza and having spent over 5 hours for nothing, we left empty-handed. After much thought and investigation over Sunday, my husband waited outside before the dealership opened on Monday - well, the car was still there, thank goodness. Now, the numbers didn't work anymore---different story, different numerical configuration and no Saab. Plus, another disappintment. Abe had us convinced on Saturday that we could get the Saab instead but when Monday came along everything changed. This time he tried to talk us into a Nissan Sentra, a car we did not go there to buy. We have purchased more than 6 cars within the last 10 years and have NEVER experienced such a schlock operation. After reading the reviews for this dealership we are actually quite relieved that we did not pursue any further business with Lynne's of Bloomfield. It's clearly obvious that we would have had our share of trouble with this dealership as they have displayed themselves to be totally incompetent. I feel very sorry for all the previous customers who are now stuck in the clutches of this unprofessional dealership. Can't wait to read about them closing their doors in the near future as I cannot possibly imagine this place doing business much longer. Word to the wise-if you are a car salesman looking for a job-DO NOT SEEK EMPLOYMENT from Lynne's of Bloomfield, NJ. Buyer Beware-DO NOT FALL FOR ANY OF THEIR ADVERTISING GIMMICS-there are plenty of other reputable dealerships out there-we know, we've been there and certainly will NOT go back to Lynne's of Bloomfield, NJ.

My First new car purchase
Called ahead and settled on the price for my first new car - Nissan Sentra. When went in to finalize the price with all the options, nothing changed from our phone conversation. No necessary trips to "consult the manager" or similar tricks of the trade. Very straight forward buying process and experience. One thing though worth mentioning on the negative note is that when I went in to pick-up the car, the promised car alarm was not installed and I had to come back couple days later.

DO NOT buy a car at Lynnes Subaru. We ordered a car from them, put a deposit down on it and was told that the car was ours and we would have to wait 2 months for it. We got a call that it was in and explained we wouldn't be able to pick the car up for a week. We went 7 days later to pick up our car to find out that THEY SOLD IT! They were very unapologetic and not helpful or informative at all. Otto and Tony C. are AWFUL. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. GO TO ANY OTHER SUBARU IN THE AREA.

Before I start on my story about this horrible experience...
Before I start on my story about this horrible experience I had with Lynne’s dealership I just want to say thank you to the people that are reading this review and hopefully inform you of my situation so that you will not be like me, taken advantage of. I have recently brought a new Nissan Altima 2012 4 door sedan. I used truecars.com to find the best price for what I am paying for so I do not have to go through the bargaining process. My salesman then took me to the lot where the vehicles were. He showed me the car I wated and said it has a power start engine and he said that I am getting a good deal for the car. We got on the car and we drove back to the dealership. At that time the car had 279 miles on it which for a new car is very high and it also did not have a window sticker which I did not notice until later. When I got back to the dealership to finalize the deal the manager came out and said that he has to charge me extra for the power start engine. I said, no since that is not what I asked for. After they said they would have to give me another vehicle and I said alright, but after a couple of minutes the manager Dan said that vehicle #2 was damaged and that they will give me the one with the power start for $450. I continue to say no and after going back and forth I decided that I will only pay $120. He said deal. As we were finalizing the price Dan, Tony, and Jeff the managers charged me destination fee which was supposed to be included in the truecar.com deal. Not just that they did not honor the system they lied in my face and charged me another $780 for destination fee. That day I drove the vehicle home and I did not know it at that time, but that was when my living hell happened. The day I drove the car home my tire pressure signal came on. The next day I brought it back to the dealer to check it up. Service was closed so my salesman went to a gas station to fill it up with air. The problem was still there, but he said it was no big deal since it takes time for the car to adjust. The next day as I was driving to work the check engine light popped up. My car started to shake. When I step on the brakes the car would not response and still continues to cruise. When I step on the gas pedal the car would not accelerate. I immediately turned back. I called sick that day of work. I called Lynne’s to get the car towed to service so they can see the problem. They called back and said they fixed the tire pressure and engine. I ask for a statement sheet on what they fixed, but they never gave one. I drove to school the next day and the engine light popped on again with the tire pressure. I turned back to my house and called Nissan Lynne’s that I would be taking the car to Hilltop East Hanover since it was closer to where I lived. They called a tow truck which is the second time this car got towed. I called Nissan Consumer Affair to complaint about the customer service and how they did not give a statement and a window sticker and how the vehicle has problems. Nissan Hilltop called and said they fixed the car and I drove it. After three days the engine and of course the tire light came on. I called and the customer service was so bad that every time I wanted to speak with a manager he or she was busy with something. It is not like I call on a Saturday or Sunday. I called on Wednesday 2pm. reaching a GM was impossible. So I notified Lynne’s again and got the car towed for the third time. When the car reached Lynne’s after a couple of hours Fred the director said that it was no big deal and that the harness needed to change and they fixed it. They wanted me to bring back the car so they replace the harness when it arrives. After a week my sales man that sold me the car said it was a lemon car and not just that it someone was going to buy the car but returned it because it had problems. I called back to the dealership to find my salesman and the dealership said that he no longer works there. I also called Lynne’s as to when I get my license plate and the managers keep saying its coming. It has been a month now and they still have not called about the license plate which is due a day ago which I called later and they did not have my insurance number

Bought a new Nissan SUV. Promised items to make the sale....
Bought a new Nissan SUV. Promised items to make the sale. Bought the car and the salesman was fired the next day. Dealer refuses to give itemized receipt to verify correct price of car. Dealer says... national back order... on items. Waited 2 months and called Nissan corporate. They investigate and now dealer says can't find paperwork promising items. Have to wait more. Will I ever get items or know what the car actually cost??? Slithering snakes in the grass, lying, thieving ingrates. STAY AWAY from Lynnes. Special Hell is set aside for people like this. They think they are getting away with something but they have surprize waiting in the next life...have mercy :( p.s. all the good reviews were written by the dealership...no one gets a 4.7!!!
