They wanted $190 to retrieve a 4 digit radio code so i can unlock my radio. That's pathetic. We will never use them for service ever again and we have 3 VW cars. 2 GTI's and a Tiguan. We will never purchase a car from them. They lost car sales over a radio code. That's horrible customer service.

Took my car in because I bought a new Key and Fob from the dealership and then they have to program it for an additional charge of course. Well I drove in no problem with the old key but then neither the old or new key would start the car with a song and dance. The dealership said it was the car and wants to charge me two hour diagnostics to find out what they did to my car. Worked just fine when pulled in, they program a new key and now it doesn't but it wasn't them??? Took to another service center and the code in the car literally says programming error!!!

Very good and courteous service. Found quickly what the problem was and took the necessary steps to get the repair parts quickly. Will call when the parts arrive to complete the repairs.

I was excited to use this service, but no matches were sent to me or an explanation to you would keep trying.

TL;DR: Bergstrom does not hold their sales representatives accountable for clients until a sale is right in front of them. I went months of empty promises without updates only to cancel my order in the end to buy from somewhere else. I ordered a '22 Subaru Crosstrek in early March. The sales representative I worked with, Bob Zurn was able to confidently promise me that I would be able to drive the car I ordered out of the lot by the end of May. A "Subaru Promise" he called it. I put in my $500 deposit, and he told me he would be calling back in a week or so to update me whether or not the car had received a VIN or not. I was totally understanding that, once the order was in, the car was in Subaru's hands for a while, so I was counting on Bob to provide me with updates. A month passed and I hadn't received an update from Bergstrom of any kind. A few calls from me into Bob's voicemail later and I finally got a call from him after a week letting me know that not only did my car not have a VIN yet, but that the car's estimated arrival date was pushed out to June a week or so earlier. He didn't update me when he found that out. Instead, the car's arrival date had been, at this point, pushed out to July by the time I heard from him. I would have preferred not to have been without a car for four months and expressed my interest in other options to Bob. He told me that if any other Crosstreks, or a similar cars were to make their way through his pipeline, that he should let me know as soon as he knew. He gave me the impression this was a likely scenario, and that I would be hearing from him soon. Fast forward to mid-May. I haven't heard from him whatsoever about my car, or any other potential options. I emailed and called into the Bergstrom office a few times over the next week only to reach his voicemail. The administrative assistants that answered the phone promised he would give me a call back later that day or the day after. Two weeks later on a Tuesday, I receive a casual call from Mr. Zurn about how he had virtually no update for me. Instead, it was possible that my car was going to be converted into a 2023 model and the arrival date, "may be pushed out further," but he "wasn't sure." He told me he would be in a meeting that Thursday about it and he promised to call me back by Friday, June 10th. It is June 21st today and I haven't received a call or update of any kind from Bergstrom. I called their office this morning to hear that Bob Zurn was on a call and would get back to me immediately afterwards. I have yet to hear back from him. As soon as I can get a hold of someone, I'm going to be cancelling my order and choosing anywhere else to shop from, and I recommend anyone else reading this to do the same. I will note that I am aware that the delays are not a result of Bergstrom's poor service. The market is a tricky one right now. That's not the point. The point is that Bergstrom's sales representatives, specifically Bob Zurn, do not treat clients with respect until the sale they are making is right in front of them. Instead they'll give you the bare minimum of promises and deflecting of blame in hopes you'll forget about getting updates until you are about to hand them your money. My guess is that managers at Bergstrom are not incentivizing generalized quality service for their sales team. Because of this, Bergstrom sales representatives are only interested in providing quality service to the customers that are going to line their pockets the quickest. That being said, unless you're planning on walking onto a Bergstrom lot and driving away in something that they have on the lot that day, shop literally anywhere else.

Very disappointed, drove a new Altima and wanted to buy it. We couldn’t have that one so the salesman got a different one in but that one was totally different with color and options, kept trying to get us to buy that car after we said no.

On a Tuesday I talked to a rep about buying an ID.4. The price was posted online and I was told this was the exact price. So I filled out the credit app and was all set to buy the car. The rep called me back after her day off, and magically the price of the car went way up. In fact on the phone she quoted me the up front price we agreed to at first and then said oh wait no its $2,000 more. I won't do business with Bergstrom ever again.

Bought a 2015 Honda Accord new off their lot. Kevin the sales guy in 2015 was wonderful and worked with me well. Super responsive. Fast forward to 2021, and I am the proud owner of one expensive paperweight with 66K miles on it. Service center was nonresponsive for 5 business days. When they finally got to me, I trailered the car down there to have them look at it. They came back with a diagnosis of a main bearing failed on the connecting rod. The thunk is the connecting rod spinning around. And metal shavings throughout the whole engine. (This is a known issue for this model year of Accord, even has a TSB out for it, but somehow my VIN doesn't fit the TSB 15-017) Service center calls me back and says nothing we can do, Honda rep says tough luck. Call Honda every other day since then, they tell me they don't supercede the dealership. Someone's lying. Have all records of personal maintenance available and given to Bergstrom. My options are to have a used engine installed for 5 grand or new engine that wasn't quoted but claimed around 12 grand. Really?! Honda has lost a customer, and I will not be buying a vehicle from Bergstrom again. Also filed a report with the NHTSA for this. Have various case numbers on it.
