Elkton Auto Corral

In mid January 2014, I found a 1997 Ford Thunderbird listed on line with Elkton Auto Corral in Lisbon Ohio, I contacted them immediately about the vehicle. I spoke to Jay the owner, he explained that he had the car for a few weeks and it was in very good condition. The vehicle only had 50,000 miles on it at that time, so I decided to take a 2-hour ride to Ohio to look at this car. I had called Jay a few times before going to Lisbon and he answered all my questions and told me that he would have the car cleaned and inside his garage for me to look at it, when I arrived I was greeted by his with Susan at the front desk and she was a pleasant as it gets. One of the staff members located Jay and he came to the showroom to greet me, he took me into his garage and pulled the car cover off of this car and to my surprise this car looked BETTER in person than it did in the online advertisement. I was floored by the vehicle and realized that in my few conversations with Jay prior to me going to his car lot he answered all of my questions and concerns with honesty. Jay allowed me to take the car for a test drive around Lisbon and the care rode like it was ?1997? again, I could not believe the car I found. I intentionally went to Ohio that Saturday without another person because I knew if the car looked as good as it did online I would have brought it home that day. The following week after my test drive and visit to Elkton Auto I contact Jay a few more times over price and one little concern over a knob in the car, Jay told me not to worry about a simple knob that he would take care of it, he did take care of the only thing that I could find wrong with the vehicle and he worked with me on the price of the car. I am 35 years old and never bought a used car and was very hesitant to do so but I could not pass up the same vehicle I drove in my early 20s. Jay and Susan were both GREAT and I look at their website every once in a while to see what else they have on their lot. My daughter will be 16 next year and I will make another trip to Lisbon to get her a car, the quality of service and quality of the vehicle I got from Elkton Auto well surpassed my expectations. I was searching for a car online, and found this dealer, Elkton Auto Corral, had the exact car that I wanted at a very good price! In fact, although this dealer had many nice cars to choose from, I ended up buying the very first one I saw online. Susan helped me when I got to their lot. She was very friendly & knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy for me. I think the gentleman's name was Jay. Since it was such a good experience, I thought I'd share my story with others, even though I've never written an online review before.
