This is a terrible business. I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau. They sold me a lemon and the day I took it home it had issues and they wouldn’t do anything. Then I drive to Florida and in West Virginia it overheated. They reset the dash lights and patch things under the car. I am going to sue them as he purposely waited a week to respond so my 30 day warranty was up. NEVER BUY FROM HERE!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM ROCHESTER AUTO LOFT. Worst experience ever. RAL preys on those with little money and no credit. They take (without saying upfront) up to 6 weeks to give you your car. They refuse to answer calls when inquiring when you'll get your car. They make excuses every other day why your car won't be ready, giving a different excuse each time. The salesman 'Josh' will lie to you to get a sale and keep your business. They do their own inspection giving you a valid sticker, but your car will NOT pass a normal inspection anywhere else. I ended up NOT buying from RAL because they have no ethics, no morals. Finally I am considering calling the Better Business Beurow because of their shaddy sales practices.

My friend purchased a car here back a few months ago, because it was the only place she could afford a car in this messed-up economy. A 2007 chevy malibu with a relatively clean carfax report. Well, this process has been a nightmare and I will explain why very thoroughly. For one, when she went to pick up the car, it was left running in the dealer's parking lot. So of course, we learn the reason is that the battery was weak and unable to be started up again once turned off. No mention that the car was jumped in order to have it run off the lot so it wouldn't be their problem. That was a $200 emergency fix right there. She was aware the car needed some repairs made, and she has been under warranty to have these repairs made. Both break lines snapped, the sway bar cracked, the temp gauge is broken, among a list of other problems. Now, my friend has recorded proof that she told Nick all these problems and that they were acknowledged by Nick. However, after every repair drop-off to the dealer she traveled for to have these issues fixed, she discovered that they were not fixed each and every time. Why would that be, when we have more than enough evidence to show that the needed repairs were known? There was something that was said to me during one of the repair drop-offs that rubbed me the wrong way. After she had to go to her own mechanic to do an emergency break line repair, he commented to me "I don't know why she bothered to go to a mechanic to pay full price, when our guy can do it much cheaper." Now, why would they need to be done "much cheaper" when they're already under warranty? I know that there is still the cost for repair, but it felt like something was being hidden. Through my own initiative, I sought out their mechanic and contacted him privately. Through exchange of our records to his, we both learned of something awful: the mechanic has not once been told by Nick what is wrong with the car. Every time, he has been dropping it off without instruction and telling him to "just fix it". Nick had the information about the car, but refused to pass it along. I never heard a mechanic so furious at his employer after we realized this. Not only is this sort of inaction on Nick's part inadvertently tanking this mechanic's reputation, but it's also a malicious shortage of pay since the mechanic is unable to properly diagnose and address the issues. Nick, not only are you taking advantage of your own customers, you are also taking advantage of your own mechanic. If I find out that you cause any termination or reprimanding of employment to your mechanic for sharing non-confidential information after reading this review, I will find out and I will take action on his behalf. Your treatment of your own workers is unacceptable. While investigating the contact information for the mechanic, I also found that there has been a suspicious amount of positive reviews here for this Lyell autoloft location. If so many people have been having positive experiences with Nick, then why was my friend not given the same treatment? I learned that Nick will travel to Florida to visit family and friends from time to time. Nothing wrong with that, but why are a portion of the recent surge of positive reviewers only have history of reviewing businesses in Miami before their latest Rochester autoloft review? They don't live in this city, and a portion of them have never stepped foot here either. Nick is asking his friends to write false positive reviews for him. Nick, if this accusation is not true, then prove it to us by providing the same level of exceptional service that these other reviews are raving about. Why has this been so hard for you? I also find it hard to believe that you "forgot" that the sway bar needed repair when you could literally scroll up two text messages where she told you about it. Didn't I tell you that it's wrong to take advantage of the poor? You will taste my vengeance for your dishonest behavior.

My experience with Auto Loft, has been a blessing for me and my family, the support from Nick and the team has been incredible. I walked on the lot with a vision for myself and son , and I left with what I asked for. I hope you guys join the Auto loft family like I have
