had an appointment with Brian in sales while my IX was in
had an appointment with Brian in sales while my IX was in the shop. From the moment I sat down I was dismissed talked down to and overall felt like he really was being bothered by my request. I was there to inquire about trading in my IX early due to multiple service problems. Hence my visit to the dealer. He went from A to Z as to why the dealer was not keen on helping me out of my lease. He started with EV’s depreciation and how there really wasn’t a market for a used EV. How can a car that was priced at 109k 27 months ago only be worth less than half of that with 17k miles on it. Not my fault that the car does not hold its value. I did not have this issue when I traded my X6 same amount of payments left in the lease . Beware of the EV’s drastic drop in value and I am only leasing . The next 8 months can’t go fast enough. He also explained how much of a hassle it was to obtain vehicles from other dealers if what I was looking for wasn’t on their lot. He said they ( sister dealers)ask for alot and it’s really not easy to get specific cars. So I should consider what’s on their stock list. Hmmmmm wish I had a good sales experience but I did not .

I have no desire to allow you to apologize for what I’m sure you will say is not the experience you want your customers to have when they come to your dealership .I did experience it and I left feeling very much like I did not matter to you as a customer and a repeat BMW customer at that. I will continue to be an exemplary customer , and hold to my end of the contract until my lease ends. I will not deal with you on any level other than what is required per my lease agreement which is to continue to have the vehicle serviced at your dealership.
