Not happy so far

Might upgrade my review but the person I talked to did not k n ow s***. Not told if arrives early the clock begins ticking. Also told have to buy if transferred. I will see if will deliver to me at home and was told exceptional would be made to extend hold till date I was told. Just not working like I thought it would. But will leave another review if turns out OK in the end.

Requested a quote to sell my car.

Requested a quote to sell my car. They gave me a fantastic number. Took it in on an appointment, they were prompt, and within 10 minutes honored the quote they gave me. Very satisfied. Easy, quick and easy

Poor Carmax experience

I reached out to Carmax via Cars.com, I received one text and never got a reply. Still haven't found the car I'm looking for. However, Carmax still has the one I was looking at, would just like someone to contact me.

Never again

2 employees in particular that work in the business office, need to find a new job. Rude as all xxxx. Lied to me several times. I also had my daughter with me so she also had the pleasure of seeing first hand of how some humans are just plain mean!

Ongoing Nightmare

My husband and I discussed our need for rapid processing of paperwork due to a business trip upcoming. We were guaranteed that the process would be complete in 7 days. Whenever we called, we got different responses. After giving our business address twice, the paperwork was not sent. When it was sent after the 3rd phone call, it was missing documentation. Upon entry into the Carmax, they could not find the paperwork until right before we had to leave again. We were unable to utilize the check to the DMV for the sales tax as discussed so we had to pay 900 out of pocket and multiple late fees related to the delay in registration. We drove over 1000 miles and waited 4 months and process of registering the car is still not complete. So much for 7 days.

Mike Snyder made a dream come true for me today!

Today I walked in and was greeted by Mike at the front desk. He was really helpful, and walked me through the approval process which i have no experience with. He was really friendly and answered all of my questions. I left with a new car about an hour later. Im kind of in shock at how well this went. It was quick, easy and he was really friendly. Thank you Mike!!

I would highly recommend not giving this business your business. Their appraisal system is a complete joke, made a two hour trip for them to offer me a 1/4 of a clean trade in value on my vehicle, and then kept pressing me to buy a vehicle from them. Also was told if I had a vehicle shipped here from any other carmax that I was obligated to buy, which I know is false, but obviously some of the salesman might need some more training. Went to a different dealership and received 10,000 on my trade in which carmax valued at 4500. Place is a joke, highly do not recommend.
