Poulin Auto Sales

I handled financing weeks ahead. When I got into the office, they had change the offer based on incorrect information, and tried to give me *20%* loan. Incompetent and predatory. They swore up and down that this was a reliable car, and would pass inspection for at least a year, probably 2 or 3. It failed less than 6 months later, because of the tires, which I had specifically pointed out. They lied to my face about them being in good condition, and when I brought it up, they said that the *paperwork* said that it wouldn't pass inspection, despite their repeated verbal claims. I also negotiated the price ahead of time. The entire office was *xxxxxx.* When I got there, they clearly thought I was someone they could take advantage of. The woman handling the financing was freaking out, with her boss storming around behind her. They would not let me speak to the owner.

Whatever you do, DO NOT do business with Poulin Auto Sales in Barre, VT! I traded in a 2018 Toyota Camry and bought a 2018 GMC Acadia from these people. The car LITERALLY broke down on the way home. They came and got it the next day, gave me a car to use while they looked into the Acadia. Two weeks later, I got my “new” car back. Then it started bucking like it was having issues switching gears. Their garage said they couldn’t do anything because no codes popped up. Took it to my garage who said I needed a new transmission. Luckily my warranty covered that, but it unfortunately did not stop the bucking. I have had this car for a year and 1000% regret buying from Poulin. I thought being a small family owned company, they wouldn’t rip me off but boy was I wrong. Now I’m going to have to take a pretty big loss and trade it because I just cannot stand driving this car anymore and no one is going to give me what I owe on this xxx. My complaint is about their service department. I scheduled a repair. All I needed was an axle shaft installed. The mechanic tried to get me to do repairs that were not necessary, and then refused to do the scheduled repair. .

Drove from N. Bennington to purchase a vehicle and it was worth the trip. Poulins Auto in Barre City is a great place to do business. I found all staff very friendly, honest, and down to earth. I worked with Jay (sales resp) he took the time to look out for my best interest. I will repurchase my next vehicle here and I strongely recommemd anyone in the maket to give them a look.

Never been to another dealership that likes to take advantage of its customers as much as these guys. Worst experience of my life

I traded my car in to get a jeep from this place and I was a bit curious so I called the bank who I have the lien with and the bank told me yesterday that there’s no loan in my name this is shady business and I will try to get my car back and go elsewhere because this is some xxxxxxxx

I got a car from them 5 months ago, the whole time I had someone asking how many miles to and from work should of known bc exactly 4 1/2 months after the transmission went, we call and they give us the run around!! Asked to talk to Stephanie get the run around had the people we brought it to get the same thing from Stacy!! Our vehicle is now unserviceable and no one will help!! My parents have got cars from them and had issues taken care of, bc Stephanie is supposed to be about selling good vehicles to people…what the rest of them do is messed up!! N supposedly we had a drive train warranty that was up 3 months after purchasing…I will never go through this location again!!

I get so tired of hearing negative things about Poulin Auto. I bought a vehicle 2 yrs ago from them for $10,000 I have ALL my work done there oil changes everything! Thy have wrkd with me, helped me , given me a loaner when my car was being repaired, wrkd with me on various bills . and today THE OWNER himself (NORM) Came to my house at 7:30 a.m. and unlocked my car for me as I had locked keys in it. How many dealerships do you know where the owner himself comes out and unlocks your car for you at 7:15 a.m.? NONE!! If you show customer loyalty and. Be decent when there is a problem you get a much more positive response! People go there and buy a cheap car and first time thy have a problem thy are all pissed off and go give the dealership a rash of xxxx. Maybe thats why alot of these people that complain have problems? Poulin Auto has treated me like Gold since day one!! Best dealership I have ever worked with EVER!! I have nothing but Great things to say about all of them. The service , Sales everything is TOP NOTCH!! Norm has gone the extra mile for me many times and. I have all my wrk done there and will be buying another vehicle from them!

Exellence as usual!! If you dont buy your next used car and have all your work done here? Your Crazy!! You can find good service at a fair price elsewhere but at Norms you get EXCELLENT SERVICE!! At a more then reasonable price!
