I came for an oil change and tire rotation. Also, I mentioned that there was a sensor that kept turning on as I mentioned in the call. I got here and they wanted to charge me $270 for just inspecting the sensor. When last time I came for an oil change, they had told me it would be of no charge since it was included in the multi inspection. Downey Nissan needs to check their service advisors and educate them( Randy).

Worst lease experience I have ever had with a Nissan
Worst lease experience I have ever had with a Nissan dealership. This is my 4th leased vehicle and the entire process at this location was a complete nightmare. Save yourself the hassle and errors and go to another location.

On Sat 5/13 i scheduled an appointment due to a recall on my Nissan Rogue 2020 I called the SERVICE DEPERTMENT in Downey and the technician stated to me that they would need to transfer me to another department for them to schedule me FOR THE SERVICE I stated ok. I spoke with an agent which i informed him i would need a recall on my vehicle for the key fob, i was them scheduled for Monday May 15 7:am. Arrived at the facility at 6:45am waited till they opened Nory acknowledged me an asked may i help you i stated to her I'm here for my recall immediately stated to me we may not have them in stock satd to her why would they inco0nvience customers by not letting them know before we came out there she started they do not know what is in stock. Bottom line is I got up at 6:00am to make this appointment not only to be told they product was not in stock. Nory stated to us Los Angeles may have it Huh?, what since does that make We live 10 min away. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. Finally i asked her was there anything closer Cerritos, santé fe SPRINGS ETC? at that time she called Cerritos and Nory may appointment. Basically Downey needs to clean up their act with servicing YOUR customers. basically we are RUN on customer service AND HOW YOU TREAT THEM NOT HAPPY

I saw that Downey Nissan had a used car listed for sale for $21,000. It was a used car and I didn’t mind because I just needed it to get me to my destination because I commute 3 hours to and from school several days a week. When I went in I saw the car and it was decent. I chose it because of the price. When it came down to signing for everything, they didn’t have printouts of the paperwork. They simply had you sign on a signature pad, so you weren’t even able to read through all the terms and conditions until after you had already submitted everything and they printed out the paperwork. Little did I know they snuck in a $4995, GPS system I didn’t notice until someone asked me [after purchasing] why my payments were so high, and when I looked over the contract I saw it. they have refused to fix it even when they admitted they made an error

Good morning I just wanted to share my experience with the Downey Nissan Company. It all began when I went to go look for a used car. I searched several places and I saw that Downey Nissan had a used car listed for sale for $21,000. It was a used car and I didn’t mind because I just needed it to get me to my destination because I commute 3 hours to and from school several days a week. When I went in I saw the car and it was decent. I chose it because of the price. As we were closing up the sales employee and manager kept trying to sell me a new car for over $28,000 and I just refused because I told him that I need a small payment, not a big one. When it came down to signing for everything, they didn’t have printouts of the paperwork. They simply had you sign on a signature pad, so you weren’t even able to read through all the terms and conditions until after you had already submitted everything and they printed out the paperwork. Little did I know they snuck in a $4995, GPS system I didn’t notice until someone asked me [after purchasing] why my payments were so high, and when I looked over the contract I saw it. I went to downey nissan and they told me to contact the GPS company. I called the GPS company and they said I would have to contact the dealer. I also tried calling Nissan financial they all referred me back to the dealer so I went back to the dealer. They basically gave me the runaround and told me they couldn't give me copies of how long the GPS system is for. The financial guy said it was for life of the car because that would justify the purchase price. I told him the information was not given to me and the GPS company said I should've had the paperwork. He said I would have to come a different day to get copies cause the department was closed. I asked if I could speak to a manager and He said he doesn’t have a manager. He looked me in the face and said they all pretty much run themselves and they are the managers lol. I asked him who’s in charge he said no one’s in charge and it was all xxxxxxxx because later on when I went this past week [again] to get the issue settled I find out there was a general manager. I spoke to numerous people this past week about getting the issue resolved, and I told them that I was open to looking at another vehicle since I was being charged almost the same as a new one. I told him I do NOT want to run my credit. I just wanna see how much the vehicles are worth and how much a trade-in value would be. The sales employee had me fill out a form with my information and sign a privacy disclosure, and AGAIN I told him in front of everyone that I don’t want my credit run. I asked him what the forms were for and he said just to pull up my information and a privacy disclosure. I told him please do not run my credit I worked hard to get my score to where it is and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do until I know that the dealer was going to do right by me and fix the $4000 problem they caused. To my dismay, the employee ended up running my credit I got a notice from the credit bureaus and my banks telling me that my credit was ran. Obviously I was very upset and I told him I’m not I’m not open to buying a car anymore cause I’m done with this place and to give me back my keys. He didn't want to give me back my keys until I went and asked twice. I then asked to speak to the financial employee who initially helped me out and he told me don’t worry the credit check was just a soft inquiry, not a hard inquiry and it’s only gonna last 30 days so of course I believe them which I shouldn’t have! I ended up finding out that the GPS system was only for two years and the financial employee made an error. I noticed all the cars on the lot sell the mandatory GPS system for $995 so why is mine $4000 over and he admitted that there was an error but that they cant fix it. have to cut my review short. they arent fixing it

Purchased a new Nissan Frontier Friday evening from Jorge
Purchased a new Nissan Frontier Friday evening from Jorge Garcia who was great to work with! Went into finance and completed the paperwork with George Secaira who was excellent as well, Management was friendly and they even delivered my car off to my home over 30 miles away. Had a great experience and very happy with my new truck! Thank you Downey Nissan!

I bought a 2017 nissan rogue and a year later the a.c started acting up! I took it in to get fixed and they "did" but again a year later it gave me the same issue. According to the service dep newer vehicles are giving more technical problems than older vehicles. That's the solution they gave me! So I have to pay $189 to get another diagnostic lol!!!!! THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO SELL, THEN WHEN A CAR STARTS GIVING ISSUES THEY CANT DO A THING!!! Oh! & on top of that the roof top paint is turning white lol! Mind you its a 2017 vehicle!!!

I would like to start this review with saying the service...
I would like to start this review with saying the service was unexpectedly horrid. In fact I have been car shopping for about the past 4 months, and I can with no doubt that this was by far the worst experience. We all know salesmen of all kind are pushy and sometimes annoying but there is a point where you draw the line between convincing someone to make a purchase and harassment. Jorge the finance man seemed to make it a goal to go way past this line. Jorge was very unprofessional, made me very uncomfortable, and was extremely insulting to work with. I came in today looking to buy a brand new car for my family, unfortunately I had the awful luck of having Jorge as my finance helper. He was very rude with an attitude and temperament problem (which seems very inappropriate considering he was hired to work at job position in which he would be interacting with people, of course anyone could realize that it is not the best fit for someone like that to be working in customer service) He seemed unstable and became jaunty when it came to me asking about additional charges we had not discussed. He continuously insisted that I sign the paperwork and only then he would explain afterwards because according to him “those numbers don’t really matter right now, we can work something out afterwards”(obviously for anyone who knows anything you never sign without knowing what you’re signing for.) I was straightforward and informed him that I would not be moving forward with buying this car if I was going to be harassed by him into purchasing it. As I was leaving the parking lot he became defensive and began to shout nonsense numbers and changes he could make to coerce me into making this purchase. I kept walking to my car as I was done dealing with this nonsense, surprisingly he came right up to my window and began cussing me out saying, something along the lines of “f*** off, you weren’t even worth my time”. I am not someone to normally write bad reviews and I am shockingly writing this, seeing as my brother in law said he had a decent experience, but then again he probably got lucky enough to not have to put up with Jorge’s customer “service”. Anyway, I would prefer this be resolved sooner than later. You can reach me here, I await your response. I hope that my next interaction can include the famous “Nissan promise” of customer satisfaction.
