My experience with Balise Hyundai of Cape Cod has been disappointing and frustrating, to say the least. Back in March 2023, I reached out to inquire about warranty coverage for my 2011 Hyundai Sonata, as the engine had seized. I was told by their staff that the engine replacement would not be covered due to a software update not being completed. This statement was not only false, but it also caused me to waste valuable time and resources. The reality was that Hyundai had already revised its warranty and removed the requirement for the software update, meaning my vehicle was eligible for an engine replacement under warranty. Unfortunately, Balise misrepresented this, leading me to believe that I was not covered, and I did not bring the car in for an inspection. It wasn’t until March 2024, after many persistent efforts on my part, that Balise finally inspected the vehicle, and Hyundai authorized the engine replacement. The engine replacement itself took an astonishing 40 days to complete. After finally receiving my "repaired" vehicle, the check engine light immediately came on. Upon investigating, I discovered that the purge control valve had been disconnected. When I reconnected it, the engine started running poorly and stalling at idle. This led me to believe that the valve was stuck open and needed replacement. After replacing it, the engine began running normally again. It’s my belief that Balise technicians were aware of the issue with the purge valve but simply disconnected it and cleared the codes to get the vehicle out of the shop quickly, without addressing the underlying problem. This kind of behavior is frustrating and feels like an attempt to cover up mistakes rather than provide proper service. Additionally, once the engine was finally replaced, the service advisor called and expected me to immediately return their courtesy rental. After waiting for over a month, they seemed to expect me to drop everything and come right away. The lack of consideration for my time and circumstances was incredibly frustrating. I was left without my car for an entire year, incurring over $19K in rental and ride-sharing expenses. Balise’s conduct has caused substantial financial harm, and they did not adequately train their staff on the warranty policies or properly address my concerns. They have demonstrated unfair and deceptive business practices, failing to provide the accurate and transparent customer service I expected. I would not recommend Balise's dealerships to anyone seeking reliable and honest service.

I have to definitely state that when you walk into this establishment., you can already feel the VIP treatment! The customer service that you will receive is nothing less than outstanding from beginning to end. More specifically., I need to give high praise to TONY BRUNO. He was not only extremely genuine and a gentleman to boot, but also a true professional. His knowledge and experience was very impressive. He quickly found a way to make everything work in my favor.
