Misleading information about my car.
Brought a car from here in January then I came back in February to report a loud noise I kept hearing in back of my car everytime I drove the car. I was told there was nothing wrong with my car. So as the months go on I notice the noise getting louder and come the end of April I couldn’t take it anymore and brung the car back to Honda in West New York but this time I was told that I needed 2 new tires on the back of the car and it would cost me $400 to get it fixed. I was like how is that possible when I just got the new in January. I should not need 2 new tires already when I bought the car it only had 25k miles and now has 35k. So your your telling I need 2 tires after 10k miles that’s ridiculous. So I leave and call back and ask to speak to the sales manager and they scheduled me an appointment for late on that day. So I come back in and talk to the guy and he tells me I need to service about this issue again. So I talk to the same guy AGAIN about this issue and he told me I had to talk to the service manager to get anything resolved but he won’t be in til Monday. It was Friday when I spoke to them. So Monday comes around and no call back. I did not receive a call back til Thursday and the same guy I spoke with left me a message saying that all they can do is offer me something off. This is not acceptable for me. So I called back and asked to speak with the service manager. I spoke with him and he told me to bring the car in for him to look at it. So I bring it in for him to look at it and he tells me the tires are not new. Which I was told that when I got the car the tire where brand new. Not even are the tires old but they are tires from 2015 the original tires. Mind you I brought the car this year. So I got used car with used tires. I don’t mind the used car because I knew I was getting that from the beginning but I was told the tires where brand new then I come to find out there not. Now the service manager said that you guys will pay the balance and I only have to pay $150 but why should I have to pay that when I was told first my tires where new, and then when I brung it in to tell them about the noise in the back tires they said it was nothing. This is not great customer service at all. I felt cheated and lie too.

I have been trying to contact Howard Newman for about 2 months now. Have not gotten a resolution to my issue. I have spoken to him a couple of times the first month and he said he was working on it but now during the past month a have been calling and no call back what so ever. Then I get his voicemail saying he’s on vacation. So I wait for the day the voicemail says he returns from vacation and call after that. Still for 2 weeks after calling them no call back. This has been one of the worst car buying experiences of my life. Please do not buy from these guys. Will tell you anything to get you in a car and then treat you like trash after they have made the sale. Even this guy that’s suppose to be corporate Howard Newman treats customers like this so how can you trust the car dealership. It hurts me to write this because I really love Honda’s and only buy them but for now I will think long and hard about my next car purchase and who I will be buying from.

Hi! Gus was so approachable and understood everything I thought my car was having trouble with! He noticed my headlight needed changing when I had pulled into the garage. It was great speaking to him and I had a shuttle arranged too! Yancy also went over a few things with the car and he was very friendly and approachable too! Gus was very helpful and was very clear in what my Vehicle needed and I had everything explained very clearly to me! I would love to come back! Thank you Gus and Yancy! :)

Friendly and helpful service representative.
A recall was done and I was given a list of work that needed to be done if I planned on keeping my car. So I had transmission fluids changed, which were alittle over due. I have had no problems and am very happy for that.
