*STAY AWAY from Sames Ford if this is how they do

*STAY AWAY from Sames Ford if this is how they do business typically. The salesman Glenn posted this vehicle on Facebook, which I responded to with an offer. The Facebook posting said it was clean, ready to drive, no warning lights, runs well. Glenn said his manager accepted the offer and we began talking. (11/26) Glenn said the car was not ready to sell quite yet as they were replacing the windshield and tires. We discussed prices, requested my trade-in photos, requested my driver's license, etc. We agreed on a list price and a trade-in price. Glenn said he hoped it'd be ready by 11/28. On 11/28, I asked if they had a buyer's remorse policy, they did not, but Glenn said they ensure the car is running and safe. We discussed me having a mechanic come to do a presale diagnosis. The mechanic (that I paid for) did the diagnosis and many low voltage codes popped up, which cause the car to overheat and not cool whatsoever, amongst other things (unsafe to drive). I let Glenn know and he said he'd get with service to see if they can take care of the codes. On 11/29, I reached out twice without response and had to call, only to be told they had no answers because they were busy. I completed preapproval for financing, provided that to Glenn, he asked me to fill out a credit app. On 12/1, Glenn told me they'd charge an additional 2k to fix the unsafe codes. I spoke to the GM, unsure of his name, and he said it'd actually be 3k and that they didn't do any diagnosis prior to claiming it was clean, ready to drive, etc. He said he used my mechanic's codes screenshots to send to a Chevy store to have them "guesstimate" the costs, again without seeing the vehicle. I told the GM that I have spent money, impacted my own credit score, and my time in anticipation of this "ready to drive" vehicle. He had 0 remorse and said he won't sell the car since it's too much of a hassle, only after asking me if I'd be willing to buy the car in it's unsafe condition and do the work myself. *STAY AWAY from Sames Ford if this is how they do business typically.
