The Bryden family has been in the car business since 1945 and Bryden Ford has been here since 1991 - taking over a franchise that started probably in the 1940's.

They are thieves cannot trust owner, service manger, and ford master mechanic. Tried to convince me my 2025 f-150 was not under warranty. I found out there is a site on ford system to check warranty status.

First off, my definition of "thief" is one who takes something without proper compensation. We have not charged you for anything in our Service Department since 2022. In June, we performed what we thought would be a Ford compensated inspection on your rear differential that Ford paid and then charged us back for, because it was maintenance. We didn't come to you asking for payment. Second, I am not a thief. My heart and conscience doesn't allow that. I never told you your truck wasn't under warranty and you didn't come to me to discuss this. I direct my team to act with honesty and integrity. I believe they have done so. Third, our Service Manager is not a thief. He hasn't charged you for anything since 2022. He didn't take any of your possessions. Fourth, our Ford Master Technician didn't steal anything from you, nor did he charge you for something he didn't do. Now, to the crux of what I believe your accusation is... We found you had a turbo charger installed on your truck. Ford didn't build it that way. In many cases, that will void your warranty on powertrain components. It wouldn't have any affect on your radio, windshield wiper motor, or any parts that aren't affected by the additional power a turbo provides. Our Service Manager said he said, "It may void your warranty." Depending upon the brand of super charger and who installed it, your whole truck may maintain coverage. He was more letting you know what could happen. We didn't deny any warranty coverage I am aware of. Again, we did not steal from you. We had a Shelby truck here this year where warranty coverage was declined on a blown engine. Neither us nor the owner of the truck knew it would be declined when he had his truck towed in. We found when getting approval for the repair cost. If it had been covered, Shelby would have paid Ford for the repair and Ford would pay us. With the proper documentation, Ford parts, and professional installation, your truck may have the same coverage available. Hopefully, your truck never needs a warrantable repair. If it does, I pray the facility you take it to can help you sort it out. In summary, we haven't done anything to steal from you, nor charge you for items you didn't receive, nor anything your accusation of "they are thieves" would entail. We provided information from something we've seen in the past to alert you to a possible concern in the future. We never said Ford voided your warranty. Of course, it shows in Ford's computer it is under warranty. It is until it isn't. We hope you get all of the warranty coverage you deserve at a facility that tells you what you want to hear. We get a lot of warranty items covered here and will continue to do so. Scott Bryden President Bryden Ford Durand, IL

Friendly and ready to help. reassuring me that my truck will not let me stranded until I get the chance to get it back in again. The owner of the dealership should be more considerate of his employees as their bathroom was worse than a pigpen. He needs a custodian but expects his other employees to do double duty and do the cleaning also. Sorry Scottie but Shame on you.

Cal, I am sorry about your experience. I agree with you on the condition of the restroom when you were here. That one is an employee-only restroom that I kind of think they should look after better on their own, but I, also, agree we should have an attendant to clean it up weekly. Now, to the good news!
