I just purchased my 2nd car from them. I traded in an FJ Cruiser that I brought there 3 years ago. no hassles at all with that. I used their Appraisal tool from their website and they gave me the $ that was right in line with what their tool said. not your typical super low ball approach you get from other dealers. I have already left one review about the positive buying experience, but I will repeat it again. you walk on the lot, you walk around, you come back to the office.. NO ONE is bugging you, or following you around.. love it. you say what you want to drive, they bring the keys, you drive.. if you like, you buy, if not return the keys.. absolutely zero pressure, again, not like most car places. this is a family run business, they run on a low overhead high volume model and that allows them to offer cars at lower prices and eliminate the start high, negotiate drama associated with most experiences. the car fax availability is great on the spot, they will show you, or you can and should look at this on line before you go. another great buying experience

I purchased a Lexus ES 350 from 405 Motors and could not be happier with my experience and the vehicle! I worked with Ken in the car buying process and he made it very easy and stress free. I contacted 405 via email and applied for financing online. Ken got back to me the same day stating that I was approved and could come check the car out at my convenience. Absolutely delighted with the buying experience - was looking for a used car for my son. Did my research online and contacted them about one particular car. Got a personalized email message back inviting me to go look at it. No nonsense, fixed price, no pressure tactics. They let you get on the lot see the cars. My son and I took it for a test drive, came back signed the papers and that was it. Ken was our Sales person and Bari did all the transaction documents. This is not a traditional dealership, so don’t expect that experience. They check out all the cars in detail, and are constantly turning inventory. Looked like a great selection of cars on the lot. Highly recommend 405. I would definitely go back there if I was looking for a used car.

I purchased a 2001 Lexus IS 300 from 405 motors. Overall the sales process was good and Ken was very outgoing and pleasant to work with. He made the process very smooth and simple. However, since purchasing the car I have had many mechanic issues with the vehicle. The car fax report given to me is misleading. So far I have spend $1,100 fixing this vehicle. Immediately after purchasing the vehicle the check engine light came on. I took it back and their technicians looked at the code and cleared it. They said all I needed to do was put fuel cleaner in the car with shell premium gas. Well the check engine light came back on and I wasted money on fuel cleaner when I didn't need it. I have had to replace both the front brakes rotors, calipers and front ball joints. The mechanics even were surprised they sold me the vehicle with these problems as it is a safety issue. I am expecting many more mechanical issues to come in the future based on what I have been dealing with now. Another issue which is really sad on the dealers end is they gave me the wrong key for my car. It is a Lexus key but it is not for my specific model. The key gets stuck in the ignition all the time and it can't even open the trunk. They gave me 2 spare keys that are broken that I need to go to the Lexus dealership and spend money to get them fixed. I thought purchasing a car comes with the correct key, but I guess I'm wrong. If purchasing from this dealer make sure to take it to a 3rd party inspecter to have the vehicle looked at.
