DONT BE FOOLED! FRADULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES
Where do I start? Well for starters I thought purchasing a car at Auto Deluxe would be a good experience given The finance director Kristian Romero was an acquaintance of mine. I purchased a Mercedes 2009 C300 in December 2014. I also purchased an extended warranty costing me $2950. Fairly trusting my acquaintance with Kristian I signed blank paperwork. Three days after i drove off with the vehicle multiple error lights appeared on the dash panel indicating airbag malfunction, cruise control inoperative, traction control malfunction, check engine light on, the engine fan started blowing high, signal lights inoperative, interior lighting panel inoperative. I contacted Kristian sent him a long list of the car issues and asked if i could just return the vehicle. He told me to bring it in for his service manager to look at. After driving from the bronx all the way to linden NJ,($30 in tolls and gas per trip)im told the manager has a family emergency and so i had to schedule another day to return. Again im asking Kristian to please take the car back. He agreed he would call the bank and request a "collateral substitution". After about 4 weeks he tells me its been approved and is waiting for the documents to be fedexed. I go back to the dealership in in January to look at other cars for the swap. After selecting another vehicle and waiting about 4 hours for Kristian to "work the swap" a man approaches me without introducing himself (general mgr Nuno Fereira )and tells me the car i selected was sold. I was shocked. Kristian finally advises me tht it was the genl mgrs error and tht now my new car payment would be $200 more a month plus an additional $2000 down. The car was only $2000 more than the original car. Later i find out what was done was Kristian was working the deal as my current car as a trade in and not an outright CANCEL. After i gave up with the swap, Kristian promised Deluxe would get all the work done on the car at no charge to me. Two weeks later (February) they take my car in for all the repair work. At this point Kristian puts me in contact with the service manager Bernard who seemed pleasant but a bit clueless. He discloses the CAN BUS (which is the car's "Brain" ) is defective and they would cover to replace or repair. In addition to the car's computer issues the car had defective tires and all the paint panels revealed crows feet cracks. My car was with Deluxe for five weeks and although they covered a rental I was still making payments on a car i hadnt even driven 200 miles. When the car was finally ready and i we t to pick up the car i was never given any receipt for the work done. Kristian and Bernard both promised that I would not have any more car troubles once all the repairs were done. After finally getting my car back in March about 8 weeks later ALL the same errors returned. point, The same errors they confirmed were repaired. I call Bernard and he claims he never knew anything about the dashboard errors. I didnt understand this especially since i sent a LIST of all the malfunction errors and as the service manager, it would be natural to do a diagnostic on the car during the repair process. After that conversation i was no longer able to get in contact with Bernard. I called Kristian and he told me to use my warranty that he had sold me. Given the lack of response from Deluxe I take the car to MB of white plains. Low and behold im advised this car had an internal distaster with wiring work clearly done by an inexperienced technician and also that the extended warranty would not cover this nature of damage. So not only was i sold a Junk but i was also sold warranty that i could not use. I was advised by MB to try to return the car to the dealership i bought it from. Again, i notified Bernard and Kristian and received no response. When calling the dealership anyone that answers the phone is very defensive and always says the person you are calling for is not in. After having the car looked at again by another authorized mechanic, im told the car has corrosion. I pay $700 for the corrosion to be repaired (June) and by August the errors returned. All i can say is Deluxe buys JUNK cars and then does not stand by the repair, their business practices are fraudulent and they will only work with you until the warranty period (90 days or 2000 miles) has expired. After that they will stop trying to correct anything. I have purchased several cars prior to this and i have never experienced such unprofessionalism and deceitful practice. I am in the process of filing a report with the FTC, the attorney general's office , the lender, the warranty company, and the national auto dealers association. These people are crooks and take advantage of peoples hard earned money.

Amazing Service and Highly Professional
We went to just look at a car and they had such a high quality of cars and such a diverse selection thy we had to drive off the lot with one. Their facilities Arles beautiful and the cars are even nicer. Everyone there from the moment you walk in is extremely friendly and fun to talk to. They were very helpful as well. Adelson was the man that helped us and we could not have asked for a more helpful and kind person. He was highly professional and also was nice to talk to. Could not recommend this place more. If you see a car listed here it is defiantly worth the price and worth the drive to the dealer

The Mini was Mine!
So I walk into Deluxe Auto thinking I'm not purchasing a car rather taking a test drive, and I left with the one I wanted. I worked with Adelson and Kristian and by the time I left, they were like my play cousins. First, they were very nice and were committed to making me happy as a customer - I never felt at any point that I couldn't walk away if this wasn't going to work for me. Second, they worked with me based on my capacity. I do believe if I ever wanted to purchase another vehicle, I would totally work with them again. And, I didn't make it easy for Adelson, I know I was a difficult customer, and he remained calm and cool and committed. It was my first car buying experience and I am sincerely thankful to these guys here for making it a positive one. I've since been to other dealerships with other folks who have brought cars and I have to say, I would much rather shop and buy at Deluxe than anywhere else. Thanks guys!

Great Service
I recently purchased my Mercedes GL450 from the Edgar Rd location of Deluxe Auto. I was very worried buying an expensive use car even though it felt and looked good from outside but I am 2 months into the purchase and very satisfied. Danny was the sales manager and very honest and nice person who helped me throughout my purchase. They don't pressure sell and have very competitive pricing. In my case I did want a few cosmetic things fixed after I bought the car. Danny at the dealership and Bernard at service were very nice and helpful. They both gave great after sale service and made sure I was completely satisfied. Normally used car dealerships don't want to hear about any issue with the car after its sold but this dealership these people work with ethics and make sure that the car they sold operates as promised. Would def go there for my next purchase. I did a extensive research on used car dealers and these guys are good.

Exceptional experience, highest recommendations
I contacted Deluxe Auto online about a specific used car. I was looking for a second family car- one my first of three sons could learn to drive, so I needed something high-quality yet low price. I couldn't believe I found this one so quickly. The showroom was beautiful, everything was exceptionally clean- the offices, the floors, the cars. Professionalism, courtesy and respect was everywhere I turned. It was obvious I was there for what was probably the lowest end of what they had on their floor, a 2005 Nissan Altima, a car that perfectly fit everything I was looking for, but no one, for even a second, made me feel like I was any less important than the customer who might come in paying twenty times what I could. Because their focus to find customers is through the internet, the price you see there is pretty much it. No negotiating. But the price offered was excellent, having done plenty of research before I went in. Sue, my initial contact, was super about getting right back to me with any questions I had before I came in. Adelson, my sales representative was knowedgable, honest, no-pressure, courteous, a good listener, and was a total pleasure to work with. While I did not have to go through a financing process, Kristian, the finance manager, explained all the sales paperwork in plain language and was thorough and exceedingly polite all the way through the purchase process. The whole prospect of buying a car on my own was intimidating to me, and the staff at Deluxe, turned that process into one I actually enjoyed. I drove off the lot with my used car confident that I had made an excellent purchase- a quality car at a fantastic price, supported by a dealership that is committed to giving their customers the service anyone should be lucky enough to have. My experience could not have been better.

Exceptional!
Buying a car at DeluxeNJ is the experience that a car buyer dreams of! Initially, I was taken back by the facility and quality of the cars when I walked in. The first car I saw was a Ferrari and I can recall turning to my girlfriend and giving her this "what the heck are we doing here...we can't afford anything in this dealership" look. I could not have been more wrong in my initial impressions! My salesman, Adelson, was the most friendly(and most competent) salesman I have purchased a car through. He aided in finding the dream SUV (very low mileage GMC Yukon Denali) 5k underneath the maximum amount I was willing to have financed. Speaking of financing.....Boy oh Boy was I shocked to see that a bank was willing to finance me my dream SUV with my lets just say UNIQUE credit score! For whatever reason, concessions were made and mountains were moved in order for me to purchase my vehicle and drive off with a very very low down.The financing agent, Christopher I believe his name is, again, was the most knowledgable and engaging agent I have met. I can assure you that you are cheating yourself if you don't go to DeluxeNJ to buy a car! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Overall, I had an excellent experience trading and buying a car at Deluxe. Lou Rodriquez was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and patient. He identified my needs in a vehicle and put me into the perfect car. I was pleasantly surprised with his flexibility and understanding during the financial process.
