NEW Challenger

I went in to purchase a New Challenger for my daughter and got a great deal. Fast and Easy!!! Jason Croucher helped make this a Hugh surprise for her, can't say more about the follow up after the sale.

Not sure where to even start. Worst experience of a...

Not sure where to even start. Worst experience of a lifetime with this dealership. We are looking for a first car for son. Yesterday saw vehicle online called and was available. We drove out saw vehicle test drove and interested in purchasing vehicle. Son was out of school in an hour and a half and wanted him to see before we purchased. So we left got son got cash for purchase. Returned there was someone that had arrived lookied at car and went on test drive. Note we were ready to purchase the online price was 7979 plus. Out salesman was on a test drive returning in a few. He returned and we sat down to work price and purchase for son. Salesman returns and said the sales manager had given the price of OVER 11000 Dollars. Not a joke. We were told that being someone was looking at it the price went up. The salesman had said vehicle 7500 online was 7979. You guys without seeing the paper brought out over 11k even if the price was 8k that's over 3k the asking price. And with the outrageous dealer fee and the other needed amounts do not come to half price of vehicle. Can you believe that a dealership would do such a thing. Note the other people that had just went on a test drive had just gotten there and left kids in car to drive down the road a few. Number 1 what dealership will do that and would attempt for customer service and reputation raise price because someone looked at it. Number 2 it gets better. Then was told internet price was for when you have something to sell or trade. OMG really it was a used 2012 vehicle not dealership brand probably.obtained in a trade and someone lost for it. We have 80k dollars our vehicles it was a 2012 with over 100k miles. How can this be. Another lie and deceit and read the small letter under fermans price online. As this was made up on top of the rest we endured. Read reviews for this dealership I wish we had. I have left message for the business owner also. I probably won't get a call back and can't imagine what I could hear next. Me my family neighbors or friends would do business with this dealership at any location. My son who had been excited and never made it to even see the inside of vehicle yet learned a valuable lesson about people what bad practices are like. Needless to say we would not want car for 2k from them and I would not want a free pair of used or new shoes from this dealership. There lots are filled with new cars for a reason and only saw one person inside beyond employees and a test driver.Beware!!!!

These are common automatic responses. See reviews and dealership website reviews. People call and get no responses or return calls. I had already called it also and Luke Miller has not returned my phone call either.

Poor management

Car needed work after leaving, they did paid for work at another dealer. They lied about gas credit. Don’t leave without it. They NEVER return calls. Seems to have poor management. And the finance department sucks.

I'll share my used car purchase experience at your Ferman Dealership, hoping that it makes a difference We were looking for a Toyota 4Runner Off-Road. We saw an off-road in your Tampa location in Silver that my spouse liked. We spoke to sales agent Jim Pinkney, got pictures of the vehicle, understood the condition and went over the price and all applicable charges. We decided to fly to Tampa, buy the car and drive back to Raleigh after a few days in Clearwater. Jim sales associate was helpful and inviting over the phone. We told him that we will be paying cash and will be coming to the dealership from Tampa airport. -We walked out of your dealership with Ferman charging us $41,029 when the price was $39,629. - Plus there is a dent in the back trunk of the car which Jim never communicated over the phone. We specifically asked any dings and damage. - Also they charge other lame charges to use some titling company which consumer has no choice over. - Further a very deceiving excuse their management gives is the fine print that refers to re trade-in and financing. I Attached it here. Yes, the Trade-in assistance and Finance assistance is mentioned with #1 and #2 superscript under "available specials" but it doesn't state that those specials are already factored into the Price displayed. Those are easily construed as additional offers. The interaction is out of character for a 125 year old company. Everyone, please get a drive out price from them before walking in, otherwise they will do this to you.

Thank you for acknowledging. I did raise this with Luke. I hope Ferman colgomerate oownership is looking at this. The auto sale industry is moving to touchless online business model and if Ferman believes in just luring customers, not be honest and up front 1/ on the state in the car 2/ and "other" charges, then unfortunately Ferman life is short unless they change this around. Imagine: 8 pm, exhausted after a flight, flown in from 100s of miles with a spouse and 10 year old, with a Ferman bumping the price; and pathetic sales agent going back and forth between finance manager apparently negotiating, is so unethical and a miserable experience. They know that these people are out of options.

We found this dealer here in Dealer Rater and read reviews on the sales staff. I have my own business and am picky about sales people. We found Jason Croucher and I have to say he is one of the best salesman I’ve ever worked with. He goes above and beyond. We showed up pretty unannounced and he fit us in along with Kayla who was great as well. They were very customer service oriented and really cared to listen to our needs. We walked out with a new Jeep Grand Cherokee L in a very smooth process start to finish. Jason walked us through the car before we left to help get the phones connected and show us features on the car. Financing went really quick and easy as well. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

My purchasing experience in 2018 was great but the service department needs some serious upgrading! This last visit Joshua did an awesome job with providing service & updating me every step on my vehicle. From what I can tell my vehicle is running great again. However, I’m unable to give 5 stars because I asked for a wash & vac, which I was told was completed. Picked up my Jeep to find the outer washed and front area vacuumed and cleaned. Got home & go to put something in the back seat and noticed it was never touched. Everything down to the same pieces of paper remained on the floor and seats. Very disappointed! In addition, when I went to pick up my Jeep, Josh was not there, unfortunately. When I entered none of the men around acknowledged me walking in or standing up inside. Only words spoken were by the guy who advised my mom needed to move her Hyundai, despite it not being in the way and my advising we were here to pick up my Jeep. It wasn’t until a woman who walked in several minutes AFTER me receiving help & one of the techs, coming in from outside, noticing my expression did I receive help. After asking me if asking if I was being helped and I responded he took it upon himself to retrieve my ticket and ask one of the gentlemen if they could check me out. As this is the only dealership I can bring my Jeep for service, since the other Ferman locations won’t service it, I am seriously looking into trading my vehicle just to not deal with this service department anymore.
