Best car buying experience ever

Jason was so friendly on the first contact over the phone; he was completely knowledgable about the car and was flexible on the price as well. When we arrived, he had ALL the paperwork done and the car was exactly as we agreed and he showed us how to use all the tech on the new car. I am a retired former business owner and never enjoyed the car buying process.......Jason was the best......how do you beat friendly, helpful, nice, knowledgable, and detail oriented?! Now we know why his nickname is "Happy".

Great lobby

Winter Haven Honda is always courteous and cordial. It's like you think of reasons to get your car serviced so you can enjoy the relaxed and friendly waiting area.

What a nightmare

Let me preface this with Dave Helpher and Mike Davis in sales are great. However based on the rest of my experience, I'd never go back. I emailed about a used certified pre-owned car, got the price, and scheduled to come in and get the car the next morning. I would have gone that day but the rep scheduled me to meet salesman that sold me my prior car. I drive an hour and half to find my salesman is out sick which is understandable however anyone at the dealership could have advised me before I drove over. I see the rep that gave me the car info and scheduled my appointment and suddenly they won't sell me the car as they decided to send it to auction but no one there knows anything on why. I checked and the same car was still available on their internet page while I was standing there. So I have to pick another car but anything with the same warranty is minimum $2500 more. I ended up buying a used Nissan for the same price but no warranty as it was in my price range and I was already there. Had I not needed a car for my son for Monday I would have left. Then I'm told they changed internet and lost my application (since 2pm prior day). So after 45 minutes of picking a car, paperwork and paying 50% down I have to wait for the finance department. Another 2 hour and 20 minute wait. Even if you pay the full amount in cash you have to wait for the finance department. Driving home it finally hit me, this is the classic definition of bait and switch. I should have just walked away but 3 hours round trip they figure you'll buy something else. This is the second car I bought here and while I love the sales staff, I will never go back and wouldn't ever recommend it. Who says we decided not to sell it after you get a buyer with no reason? If they were offering a 12 month warranty they had obviously inspected the car already. I will assume they got someone to pay more before I got there.

excelent service

Luis Ortega, the sales person that took care of us was very knowledgeable and courteous and was able to guide us into the right vehicle.

2017 Honda Pilot EXL

We were fortunate to have Mike Davis as our sales contact and were treated with the highest level of respect and professionalism. He was most concerned about OUR needs and wants - we bought our car; we were not sold a car. I especially appreciated his follow-up and working on our behalf in getting an excellent price on our Honda Pilot. I would recommend Mike and Honda Pilot to others who dread car shopping and buying.

Best Car Purchase Ever!

My experience at Honda of Winter Haven was the best I could ever ask for. First I met the absolute best salesman in Mike Davis. Mike was determined to show us the best deal and make sure we were happy with our purchase. Mike gave my experience the best I have ever had, I made the comment that this was the shortest time I had ever spent purchasing a vehicle. I went in a couple weeks prior to buying and met Mike. Mike stayed in contact with us until we returned 2 weeks later. When I came in, Mike was prepared and ready. I was prepared to negotiate, but Mike handed me right off the bat the deal I was looking for. What could I say to that but YES!

I had an amazing experience at this Dealership on April 4th. The staff really knows how to take care of their customers by going the extra extra extra mile. The dealership was extremely clean and it was a pleasure to view all of the available cars, although there was ONE I was particularly interesting and ended up purchasing. The customer experience given by Mike Davis in Sales was totally amazing. We traveled far to come see this car on the lot and I have never seen a sales person go that far to make a customer that satisfied. Mike was my eyes via telephone, walked me out to the car and gave me all the information I needed to make the decision.. He met us there that evening, went on the test drive, walked us through the sale, made the paperwork as simple as possible as well as stayed late to make sure we were well taken care of by the Finance Dept. Mike also made absolutely sure the car was detailed and super clean when they deliver it. I must say, that is the best car buying experience I have ever had. Thanks Winter Haven Honda. You ROCK!!! I don't by cars often, the last time I did this was in 2008 so when it is time to go down that road, I want it to come with adventure and a great story to tell. I would definitely buy from this dealership again as well as send my friends and family here.

Poor customer service

I love my car that I got with them but I'll never come here again. It's been a headache from day one where they destroyed the tiny when scraping off the paper in the window all the way to them not being able to do their job. I've had to come back 3 times to fill out paperwork they keep forgetting to have done. It's honestly ridiculous and unprofessional. They handle things poorly and god forbid you let them drive your car for service, you get it back dirty.

New car sales

My husband made several calls to this dealership requesting information on a new car deal. The salesman said he was very sure we could make a deal and even gave him a price. He was then going to check on something and call us back. He never called and my husband has called him several times, with no return call. Would I buy a car from this dealership, absolutely not! Would I recommend this dealership, absolutely not!
