So first off, the place is a dump, the so-called office is a rundown shack, The guy names Steve, he's a complete moron, the cars they sell are all junk, Steve and his partner are just modern-day con artists, Do not buy anything from these guys. All they spew out of their mouths are nothing but lies.

This dealership is truly a GEM. My experience with Steve was great and pretty straightforward from the first interaction. In my 2 month long search, I've nearly been scammed, several dealers pulled a bait and switch, and experienced flat out dishonesty. So needless to say, my expectations weren't high when going out to SGM to check out a vehicle. I brought along my father-in-law, who's been in the business for over 40 years. He checked out the car, a pre-loved 2008 Lincoln MKX. HE WAS SURPRISED. Of course he didn't show how surprised he was in front of Steve--had to play it cool 😂. The car had been well-cared for. Engine great, transmission great, new tires, new front brake pads. There were a couple minor things that Steve either already had the part for (rear wiper) or was so insignificant I was perfectly fine with getting myself (tire center cap). I already knew it was a great deal, but I still gave it a shot and asked for a little to be shaved off being that I was paying cash--and he did 🙂. Even if he didn't, it was still a great deal and I'm not the type to lowball anybody making an honest living. Steve took care of everything for me and even picked me up from the LIRR station the day I went to pick it up. All in all, a great experience. There were also other nice vehicles on the lot. Absolutely recommend dealing with them FIRST. Do yourself a favor and avoid the stress.

Steve is a phenomenal sales person who was very honest, respectful, courteous and professional. The BMW X5 purchased and registered, at an Extraordinarily GREAT price, during the quarantine, runs great! I’m bringing my grandsons girlfriend to purchase a great vehicle at an AWESOME PRICE soon!

Steve was straight and to the point on the sale of my car. Car was as described (even a little better condition than described). Price was excellent. What more do you need?

Having had nothing but bad experiences with used car dealers when I was young, I?ve only purchased second-hand cars direct from their owners for the past twenty years? until recently. Because I was under time constraints and had to purchase a very specific kind of vehicle ? which I wasn?t having much luck finding from any private owners ? I decided to give used car dealers another try. The first bunch of dealers I went to immediately reminded me of everything I hated about used car dealers and reinforced the negative feelings I had about them. Needless to say, they all had gimmicks, used high pressure sales tactics and were not the kinds of establishments from whom I would have any confidence purchasing a vehicle. I was about to give up when I saw an online listing for a car that looked good and fit my needs, so I decided to go see it. I drove over to SGM Auto Sales, met Steve, and checked out the car. I was extremely impressed with the condition of the vehicle, which had some years on it but had low miles and was obviously extremely well maintained. After going for a test drive, I was confident that this was the car I wanted, so I made Steve an offer. Though he didn?t accept my offer, we came to an agreement on a figure and I felt satisfied that I paid a fair price for the vehicle. Not too long after I purchased the car, but after the NYS lemon law protections had expired, I started having a problem that seemed like a transmission issue. I brought my car back to Steve, expecting the worst since he had no legal obligation to help me fix the problem at this point. To my surprise, Steve assured me that he would stand by the vehicle and help cover the cost of fixing the problem, whatever it might be. It turned out to be a tricky issue to troubleshoot and took three mechanics to finally figure out. In the end, it wound up being a faulty transmission control module. Steve stood by me the whole time and helped cover the cost of getting the problem resolved. It also happened to be Steve?s mechanic who was the one who was finally able to get a very frustrating problem figured out. As a result of my experience, I now have faith that there is at least one used car dealer in this country who is honest and will treat you fairly. Steve is a straight shooter, a nice guy, and an honorable businessman, which is extremely rare in his industry. It is for these reasons that I highly recommend SGM Auto Sales if you are in the market for a used car.

Steve & his crew went above and beyond for me! The car was in great condition, and in perfect condition when I picked it up. He made sure everything was at it's best, and that I was happy with my purchase. No gimmicks, straightforward, no pressure- Highly appreciated! Few months later, and I'm still beyond thrilled with my car. They will definitely be the dealer I use for all future purchases :)

Came here this past August for a car with 89,000 miles. First time I went he said he would give a better price, after going second time he did not give me a better price. After purchasing the car he said it would be ready that following Monday, I ended up having to wait about an extra week longer for the car. Also when I purchased the car he said he put a lot of money into the car and put a new battery into the car. I had to buy a new battery 3 months after purchasing the car and now have to go fix it for another problem again. Do not trust.

I got an awesome car at an awesome price thanks to Steve. He is very easy to work with and takes care of every detail. He actually makes car buying fun, which is unheard of in the used car business.
