2007 Saturn Vue

I had been looking at cars all day, feeling hopeless about finding car, we headed back home; on the way back home we stopped at silver state. I had spoke with a salesman, earlier that day, named Tony. I had asked him about the two saturn vues he had on his lot. He told me they were great cars, and he wasn't lying! They had one '04 hybrid and another '07 V6. To make a long story short. I've always been skeptical about car salesmen. Tony gave it to me straight forward. He didn't try to push any one certain car on me, he made his suggestions, but ultimately made the decision entirely up to me. He was very helpful and made me feel prioritized. I would absolutely refer anyone in need of a vehicle to silver state. I'll always be skeptical about car salesmen. But not about Tony! I walked out of there, well I should say drove out of there with my new car, that I am so happy with!

Suzuki XL7

Purchased a 2008 Suzuki XL7. It was a good experience. The salesman was helpful. I looked at six different vehicles while I was there. After much thought, I finally purchased the Suzuki. It has been a great vehicle. Brake light was out, but the salesman replaced the bulb quite promptly. Customer service was great and the experience did not take a lot of time. I would recommend this dealership to my friends. All in all, it was not a great deal, but not a bad deal. It was fair. The dealership met my expectations. Cannot ask for more.

Very satisfied customer

I needed a car quickly since mine was totaled. I went to several dealers near my home and in most cases I found out what they mean when they say "he is a used car salesman" I went to Silver State based on a add I saw. I met with a Salesman named Shane. He was truthful and very helpful. After purchasing the car I filled the gas tank and boy it leaked. I was really concerned when that happened. I called Shane and explained the issue to him. He made arrangements for me to bring the car in and explained they had no idea since they do not fill the tanks. He arranged for the issue to be fixed and to date the car is running fine. If you do go there to look at cars I recommend you talk to Shane. I hope the owners are smart enough to do what they need to do to keep him. Thanks Shane.

No response

I sent an email to them through cars.com about a Mazda Miata and never heard from them. The car is listed in their inventory, and I requested to be emailed instead of called, but never heard a word.

Convertible

Drove all the way from Fayetteville to Raleigh to test drive a car-John the salesman was horrible. I did not like the car I had seen on the internet and he told me "if you want to buy a convertible you need to buy one in the winter". I left and went to Carmax and purchased my 2012 Mustang Convertible and was very please with the service I got at that dealership.

Honest Dealership and very helpful

So I bought my car today from this place so I am writing more about my experience purchasing the vehicle more than the vehicle itself. I had visited various different places some where the salesperson was trying to sell me a specific type of car instead of letting me purchase the car I wanted. We saw this place passing it on the street and thought that we would look around, and they had cars within our price range, < $20,000. As we started looking at the cars, they asked us if we needed help, and we initially declined. After a while we found a couple of cars that interested us within our budget, so we finally went inside and asked about looking inside and eventually test driving the cars. One of the sales guys grabbed the keys for both the cars we wanted to look at and let us go outside to look in the cars. After looking at both cars, we decided on one we wanted to test drive. After driving, we decided that we wanted to see if we could finance the vehicle. It was about 2 hours later that we were able to drive away in a semi-new SUV. The great thing about this place was the whole time I was able to initiate the process each step of the way without being forced to speak with a manager or having my time wasted trying to explain why I didn't want a specific car. The staff were friendly and very enthusiastic about the car, and they even took us out and showed us how each of the features worked. This is the fourth dealer that I have bought a vehicle from, and it is by far the best experience that I have had with dealers. I actually left feeling excited about the purchase that I had just made. They have a good selection of vehicles to chose from, from $5,000 sedans, to the most expensive one being a $30,000 subaru. Being that most of the depreciation of a vehicle occurs within the first three years, you will find a majority of these ones right after that mark so you can get a nice vehicle after someone else has taken the depreciation hit. They do offer Carfax reports, so I would recommend that you look at those before purchasing a vehicle, but I feel that the quality of cars here are top notch. Finally I was able to purchase a $20,000 SUV with financing through this place at a little above 5%. This includes their Warranty program. I would definately recommend this dealer if you are looking for a laid back atmosphere where you get to make the decisions.

Painted over the rust

I traveled 3 hours to buy a truck from them to find out that that had painted the undercarraige of the truck to hide all of the rust and when I told them about the painting they got very defensive. I was very dissapointed in the truck even before I saw the rust. I will never look at another truck from this place again.

don't shop here

Buying a car from these guys was the worst car buying experience ever for me. I found out the car I purchased had many problems about a month later ( coolant, oil and air leaks bandaged with silicone). Be weiry of the salesman by the name of Tony. Even using the WARRANTY they adamantly suggest you buy continues to be a terrible experience. I highly suggest you keep it moving and don't stop here.
