Didn't seem motivated for a sell. Did not return phone call after requesting vehicle information.

I don't like them because they don't have financing options available for people who can't afford to pay a automobile off when the take possession of the automobile

A couple years ago, I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from American Imports, and this began a nightmarish journey that I am still on… I did not purchase the extended warranty, not sure it would even have helped. This vehicle runs rough and has engine misfire once it heats up in 30-45min. I have been to multiple shops, and nobody can find or fix the issue. I have spent as much/more than the purchase price trying to fix this, all in vain. I have now given up on any hope of correcting this and am gonna get rid of it, however I will not get even a fraction of my money back as I am an honest man and would never burden another person with this nightmare! BUYER BEWARE AMERICAN IMPORTS BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY: Jeff claims (even boasts) that his customers like him and his business as he finds cheap vehicles and can pass them on at a reasonable price as he does little/nothing to them. This is great if the vehicle is good, but horrid if there is an issue that isn’t found during test drive! I called and said he had sold me a lemon, and I was told that “lemon” only applies to new vehicles. I explained my situation , and he did offer to give some money if I sent him a cost of repairs. When I did send him some details of some of the things I tried and money spent, it was crickets…

Very bad experience . Very rude Try to tell me it was a cash lot. I asked them it was false advertisement. To take their Advertisement down. out of cars.com. They never advertised that it was a cash lot. They don't do monthly payments. It was all a big joke and a waste of time very disappointed.

Don’t waste your time going. Had an appointment made with them to have a car inspected. Showed up for the appointment only to discover that they sold the car the night before. Never bothered to call or email me to tell me. Nor was there an apology when I showed up for the appointment. Ridiculous customer service. Never going back.
