Your team greeted me with utmost courtesy when I dropped my Tahoe off for service. The service manager Cassidy listened to the list of work I wanted done, and nothing was missed.

I brought my truck in twice for the same engine noise. The first time, they replaced an engine mount. The second time, even though I had an appointment, the truck sat for about two weeks before I was told I only needed front-end struts. Not long after, the truck suffered catastrophic engine failure. The warranty claim process was also mishandled. I sent missing service records to the service advisor twice, yet claims were submitted multiple times without all documentation. Claims were also submitted without the required engine teardown being completed. I was told for roughly three weeks that a teardown had been completed, but documented photos and video showed otherwise. After the engine replacement, I was told the truck was ready except the technician noted a transmission shudder during the post-repair test drive. I had never had transmission issues before. This was not a minor shudder — the truck felt undrivable, skipping, hopping, and shaking the entire vehicle. I specifically asked McElveen at least four separate times whether the issue could involve transmission fluid level/condition, connections, torque converter involvement, relearn/calibration, or other post-repair validation. McElveen maintained it was unrelated and quoted either a flush or full transmission replacement. I had the truck towed to Baker GMC for an independent diagnosis. Baker documented that the transmission fluid level was low, the pan was full of metal, and the transmission needed replacement. Baker replaced the transmission, programmed/relearned it, cleared codes, and test drove the truck back to normal operation. In my opinion, the most reasonable explanation is that the truck was operated or test-driven after the engine replacement while low on transmission fluid, which caused or accelerated the transmission failure. That is especially concerning because I had no transmission issues before McElveen replaced the engine and repeatedly asked them to verify the fluid level/condition. When I tried to pick up the truck from McElveen, the battery was completely dead and the electronic parking brake would not release until codes were cleared. The next day, after calling ahead, I arrived and was told the only tech had left for a one-hour lunch. The communication, follow-through, and handling of this entire situation were unacceptable. I have extensive documentation, including emails, photos, videos, service records, warranty communications, and repair records supporting the statements above. I have completely lost confidence in this service department.

- Shopped for a used car
The website was hard to navigate. It insisted I contact a sales Rep who didn't know the inventory and asked ignorant questions. I'm looking for a 2500, why would I pay the extra if I wasn't going to tow with it? Is it for towing or personal use? Do you have enough money to buy an almost $90k truck to not use it personally? If you are trying to sell a $90k vehicle, shouldn't you put some effort in!

We spent a whole day here trying to buy a Buick SUV. What a fiasco! On the lot when we first drove in we Met a very nice brand new salesman - Clinton , a lovely person -but that was the only positive! we spent 5 hours while they tried to find us the SUV we wanted - Including Driving to an off-site location, - before we finally got Down to talking business. We offered $20,000 Down and the dealer Insulted us by telling us to go to the bank and get a certified check - provably because we were older and possibly a little shabbily dressed! We complied and we spent hours waiting around before we got to the financial guy whom we asked to accept our GM rewards points and He refused saying he could not do that. My husband - After our spending the whole Day with these disrespectful People - walked out! The next day we went To The Chevy dealer In Charleston and what A difference!! Nobody disrespected us Or Looked Down on Us Or Asked For A certified Check and We Drove Out with a full-size SUV instead of The dinky looking Thing the Buick dealer Offered, and the full size was less Money. Never judge a book By its cover!!

Recently had my GMC vehicle in for service... Set up a schedule with Amanda Jones... She took my vehicle in on time , greeted us with a friendly smile and was super polite and professional... She asked if there were any other issues or concerns I may have with my vehicle... McElveen's Service Dept. was super busy that day... Amanda kept us informed on the status of our vehicle... It was a pleasure dealing with Amanda... McElveen should be honored having Amanda on their staff... Amanda truly appears to really enjoy her job and the people she takes care of... Thank you again... See you next time!!
