I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Service was fast and friendly, and I was not taken advantage of because I am a woman! Not once did... they try to sell me something that was not needed or pressure me to have other services they was not necessary! It was a wonderful experience and I certainly will be back!

Went in for a oil change, already had a appointment and waited 2hrs. This is way to long for an oil change. The only good thing was my service advisor... was very nice, thats the only reason for 3 stars in customer service. Next time i will use the Chevrolet dealer on river ave.

A more appropriate rating would be zero stars. I am very disappointed with the service department. I drove from Charlotte, NC to spend the summer with... my sister in Charleston when my air conditioner went out. I was recommended by her to McElveen without hesitation because prior to her experience, she always heard great things about them. We had to take my 2017 Encore to the service department 5 times before deciding to get it fixed correctly at another Buick dealer. The first time we brought it to McElveen the AC was blowing hot air, the second time was to replace the evaporator valve, the third time was to fix an odor coming from the evaporator and ended having to replace the blower motor and blower motor resistor, and the fifth AND FINAL time we brought the Encore back was because they failed to connect the big air box hose back to the air box, causing the car to leave us stranded at the gym at night. Luckily her boyfriend works at Hendrick Honda as a technician and was able to come and fix the problem. Upon his arrival he noticed that McElveen failed to replace the caps where the technicians evac the AC and replace the Freon. They left the caps by the windshield wipers and how they stayed there is beyond me. McElveen also failed to replace the cabin air filter that I paid for when I had to buy a $336 blower motor. We decided to have it fixed else where because all they want you to do is file an insurance claim to get money to fix the problem instead of covering it through the warranty. I understand that there is no money in warranty work but come on now.....Also, they pushy sales department... I couldn’t even get out of the car without a sale golf cart behind me. I couldn’t even walk to the service department without being asked 5 and 6 times if anyone was helping me or if I was interested in a new car.....NO I am not....not from here. I encourage you to take your car to another dealership and to refrain from purchasing from here.

The tire stem on a brand new tire was bad and they didn't fix parking light.. took it on a Friday and picked up on a Monday...went home and noticed these... problems they didn't fix took it back...40 minute one way ride...now it is taking 3 days...they got my money so now I'm SOL...

I was directed by a friend to call McElveen Buick and GMC to get a good rate on a used car. I was also told to talk with Miss Taylor Nobles and that she... would be able to help in surching for what I needed in a vehicle. Miss Nobles was very patient with me and helpful in finding what I was looking for. Purchased certified used impala. Only had year and a half and have barely drove it. Sunroof shade self destructed and now being charged $1200.00 for the... repair. Never again!!!!
