On the lot over a year
Went in to test drive 2 SUVs. The one at my price point and mileage unfortunately needed some brake/rotorwork and could hear some muffler noise. 90 day warranty was kind of a red flag.. the other one was borderline price point, but drove great. Both cars had been on the lot for over a year.. One even had a dead battery so i couldnt test drive it the first time i came. I was hoping for a deal as long as theyve been in inventory.. They told me they're "priced to sell". and wouldn't budge on the price. 2 months later the vehicle is still there. The saleswoman was new but very nice and went to bat for me.

Went here on 3/11/23 to look at a certified GMC Terrain.
Went here on 3/11/23 to look at a certified GMC Terrain. The one we found we the features we wanted including remote start and power lift gate. Unfortunately, both remotes we were given did not have the buttons for the remote start or lift gate. We were basically told we'd have to buy our own remotes and have them programmed at our expense. We were stuck between a rock and a hard place as the vehicle fit our needs and budget almost perfectly. There was never any offer of us buying the remotes and them programming them as a shared expense and good customer service. I called GMC and all they said was sorry but the dealership is independently owned and they were unable to help us. While staff was friendly and a nice clean dealership, this remote issue has left me with no choice but to post a less than desirable review. If you go here, understand you may very well buy a car with features would won't be able to use as intended. You would think a factory certified vehicle would be completely up to par not well, it's mostly there. My advice, go elsewhere that makes sure you are 100% completely satisfied and works with you to come up with mutually amicable solutions. There are lots of choices out there. UPDATE: The owner reached out with an offer to sell me remotes for cost. I still have to pay for those. There's doing what you have to and doing what's right. They just do what they have to. A couple hundred dollars to them is worth loosing a new customer. I stand by my review. Lots of dealerships to choose from. If you're like me, customer service is everything. All you get here is lip service. Go elsewhere. After looking at other Google reviews, it appears they have a big lack of communication internally and with customers and they are not willing to go the extra to make a customer happy when they have a reasonable request.

Mr. Merwin, Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your business. As I mentioned before we are offering to sell the remotes to you at our cost and program them for free. We feel this is a very fair offer considering that you knew that you would need to purchase the remotes before you purchased the vehicle. If you want to discuss it further you can contact me at 309-278-4301 or cdresing@greencc.com. Thank you, Chad Dresing Owner
And it still costs me $250 for 2 remotes and gas to drive there. You can "play victim" all you want but it comes down to pressure to buy, poor communication on your dealerships part, and lack of doing whats right to help customers instead of continually taking money from them. Potential customers beware.
My husband and I cannot recommend this dealership.
My husband and I cannot recommend this dealership. Please be warned. We called first thing in the morning to purchase a new GMC Denali with Amiee. She sent us pictures, we told her not to sell the vehicle and that we wanted it. She NEVER asked for a deposit which we immediately would have provided. She said she would “guard it with her life.” We sent her pictures of our trade. She stopped responding. She then TEXTED us and told someone else bought the vehicle from under us and that she was sorry. She didn’t have the decency to call and tell us. We then called and spoke with a manager who said he would review the messages between us and Amiee. He called us back, admitted he didn’t even look at the messages and told us sorry for the bad business but it was sold. We have purchased many new cars before and have never dealt with unprofessionalism on this level. You put a lot of trust in individuals that work in car sales that they are there to help you and guide you through the process, not screw you over. I typically wouldn’t leave a review but don’t want anyone to ever be put in this position again.

Sarah, I apologize for this experience. We certainly screwed up today and you didn't deserve to be on the losing end. Your sales person absolutely should have given you the opportunity to leave a deposit on the vehicle. That is the correct process and had they done that this situation would have been avoided. This review is being shared with our entire sales staff as an example of what not to do and hopefully we can avoid this situation in the future. Thank you for your feedback, and again, I am very sorry this happened to you. Sincerely, Chad Dresing Owner cdresing@greencc.com 309-278-4301

Mr Dissatisfy
After getting an oil change, my vehicle started losing oil took it back. They said it was a coolant line for the oil, I have a warranty when I purchased it they said they would give me a loaner now they tell me they can?t give me a loaner I need to take the shuttle I work from 6 AM to 3 PM they get back to me, but they can find a loaner vehicle. One thing after another with this dealership, when I had the oil changed, they brought me my filter told me I needed new filters for the air and cabin air, I had just replaced them two months ago, so it seems kind of funny after I told them to learn their job And all I needed was in oil change that oil cap dripping on my driveway makes you wonder if they broke the line on purpose. This would not be the first time that I took a vehicle in for service and miraculously something started leaking or broke shortly after.

Thank you for providing the feedback on your experience at Green Buick GMC. I am very sorry for the issues that you have had. I know it is frustrating to be without your vehicle and not being able to get a loaner car made it worse. Although we did not have one initially, we do now have the availability of a loaner car for you. Our service team is reaching out to schedule an appointment to get the rest of these issues resolved. Thank you for your patience and again, I am sorry for the inconvenience. If there is anything else we can do to make your experience better please feel free to reach out to me directly at 309-278-4301. Sincerely, Chad Dresing Owner cdresing@greencc.com

I showed up alone to trade my suv in on another one.
I showed up alone to trade my suv in on another one. Being a female they tried to steal my suv right under me knowing it is worth way more than $4500. Also told me my tires were bad as they still have 8.2 tread out of 10. So they are basically new. Then I had told some friends and family I’d gone there and they told me Green family are rip offs. I received a few calls and text messages from other than who I first talked too, to no reply after I answered them. Just left me hanging. Never would I recommend this car dealer to anyone!!

MissT, Thank you for your feedback and thank you for the opportunity to earn your business. I understand that your experience was not a satisfactory one and I apologize that we were not able to offer you what you wanted for your vehicle. I assure you, as a company, we do not treat any customer different than another regardless of sex, race, age, or any other classification. The value that we offered for your vehicle would have been offered to any customer. We have processes in place to make sure that we evaluate all trade in vehicles the same way. We use several tools and market guides that help to determine a fair market value based on the current market conditions and the physical condition of your specific vehicle. Some times that value will be higher than a customer expects and some times it is lower. I understand that in your case it was lower and this was disappointing and I totally understand how you feel. Since we don't make any money unless we are able to come to an agreed deal, it is in our best interest to offer you the most money for your vehicle. However, since we have multiple people that appraise vehicles and their opinions can differ, we would be happy to re-evaluate your vehicle and discuss the possibility of giving you more for it. If you would like us to do this for you or would like to discuss your experience please feel free to reach out to me directly. My phone number is 309-278-4301 or email me at cdresing@greencc.com. Again, thank you for your feedback. Sincerely, Chad Dresing Owner
Lots of fees added like "mandatory" insurance??
Drove 2 hours to look at the truck, major engine tick, was listed as having it, check engine light on, exhaust timing according to my reader. kept dropping oil pressure when idling. Kept wanting to add on insurance, xxx, I have insurance don't need it from your provider. added on extra fees to process the title. that's your cost to do business not mine. Wouldn't accept my form of payment.. xxx lost a sale over not accepting a CC over a set amount?? and no flexibility on that.. shesh. Kept trying that line "we'll get that much at auction" maybe, but you still have to pay to ship to the auction AND pay the auction house to sell it, so Gross 5500,, net 3500-4000. and I had "cash" in hand to pay right then.
