i purchased a vehicle from this dealership on Sept 13. i am currently unable to operate do to lack of current registration. The title work for my purchase... was not delivered to the title company until Nov 5 (45 days later). The drive away tag has expired and i have not received an new IL TRP.
I emailed and called them about a car they had on Monday. They said it was not on the lot yet and we were the 1st to ask about it. They then said they... would call us as soon as it arrived probably on Wednesday. Waited and waited no calls then I called on the following Saturday and they had sold it to someone else that morning. They said they got it in on Friday and that buyer was waiting on Saturday morning for it. Why wasn’t I called? I don’t know I would have been there if they had called and purchased the car. If you want to get a car from don’t trust them over the phone.
Jeff went out of his way with the buy of my vehicle and with buying his. Even though I felt I was bugging him with questions, he was always pleasant to... talk to. Beats working with a big car dealer hands down.
Jeffrey was very nice and made the whole car buying experience quick and painless. He also found us a great interest rate and gave us a very reasonable... amount for our trade in.
I thought this was going to be a quick and easy purchase, I was wrong. I drove 3.5 hours to this dealership under the impression that there were no issues... with this vehicle. I asked if there were any issues and also brought up specific concerns with this type of vehicle. I was never told of any issues, but was provided with some pictures I requested, and a carfax report. The moment I arrived, I noticed that the vehicle was very dirty, and had been sitting for at least a week in that same spot, if not longer. I then went in and was greeted by Jeff, who had no idea I would be stopping by on this day (17FEB2018). He apologized for it being dirty and handed me the key to go drive the vehicle. Prior to startup, I inspected the vehicle a small amount, and opened the hood to check engine oil, and try to find any leaks or damage. I found that the battery was loose in its spot, due to the hold down being loose. There was a rubber grommet hanging by the firewall that very clearly had a spot for it on the firewall, which I put back in place. I pulled the engine oil dipstick and found that the oil was hardly registering on the dipstick. I went in and informed Jeff that it was barely registering, and that it would probably need more than one quart. Jeff did not know what brand, weight, or type of oil was in the engine. Jeff had me jump into another vehicle on the lot to go pick up oil from a carquest down the road. I picked up two quarts of conventional oil (Found that it takes 5w-30 online, verified by carquest employee.) and came back and put the full two quarts into the engine. I started the engine up and heard what I consider a ticking/clacking noise from the power steering pump. After coming back from the test drive, I check the transmission fluid level and saw that it was about a quart low. I parked the vehicle and as I locked it using the power lock button, I noticed that the front passenger lock switch did not actuate along with the pressing of the button. I found that it was loose, and not connected to any bar; the switch just went back and forth with ease. I'll be honest, after driving 3.5 hours, finding low engine oil, low transmission fluid level, loose battery, power steering pump, and the inoperable lock switch, I was pretty upset, and he could tell. I expressed my concern on all these issues, and reiterated that I drove the 3.5 hours for a vehicle that I thought was going to have no issues. He simply stated "well then, don't buy it" perversely. It was at this point I just decided to leave. I sent an email inquiring as to when my reservation amount would be refunded to my checking account, to which I received a call from Jeff that went to voicemail stating it would be completed monday. He also apologized for the issues, and made suggestions that could have made the experience better, as if they were going to help me or the company at this point. He stated this is not the way they usually do business, but to me, and every other potential customer that has had a poor experience, it's the only way business was done. I personally won't ever be going back to Premier Picks Auto Sales, even if I lived minutes away.
We found a Volkswagen suv that i absolutely loved and Jeff made us a great deal! He and his employees are very personable and helpful..made a possibly... stressful situation very easy and we love the car!
Awesome will buy from again an again easy they worked hard for me to get it done just drove two hours to get home Jeep is great great deal honest guys
Jeff treated me with great integrity and handled the process of buying the car in a fair manner. I had to drive 4 hours to pick up the car and he assured... me that it would be held until I could test drive it. As fair and ethical as I've been treated by a dealer.
WE had a great experience with Jason in the purchase of a Cheve Custom van. We live in Big D Texas.. Jason worked with us thru phone calls, text and emails... till we got it done. Lot of road blocks but Jason was patience, I broke my arm on July 13, had surgery July 20, celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on July 22 Huge party then, Left for Moline Ill July 23, closed the deal with Jason at his place of business July 24 before noon. All went smooth we are very happy with our purchase. Jason even allowed us to hire Lemon Squad to check out the vehicle before we flew up there. When Jason picked us up at the hotel in Moline and drove us to his place, i was blown away at how nice the van was. the photos on internet just did not do it justice My husband and I were delighted at how clean and the excellent condition of the van. We closed the deal by lunch and took out on our first road trip back to Dallas Texas. Thanks Jason for your patience and for your willingness to work with us from so far far away . Very Professional. Great people to do busy with. By the way, my first time in Iowa What a beautiful state.and friendly people, we really enjoyed the beautiful fields of corn and soybeans. Absolutely breath taking so beautiful..
At first we were concerned about the overall vehicle condition since we were from a long distance away and had looked at so many already. We found that... pictures can be very deceiving. However their vehicle was described accurately and drove wonderful. The staff was very low pressure and the location was easy to find. We had financing already arranged but the dealer actually got us a better interest rate than our own bank! We love our new car and will highly recommend!
